First hints of winter starting?

Snow warnings tonight for parts of Scotland and then through this weekend a significant cool down across the uk, perhaps possibly with some wintry showers across England next week. It’s a complex picture, that may not come off, but the most likely scenario at present does seem to be for a much colder outlook.

None here in London despite the current headline in the Daily Fail (always knew they couldn't be trusted...!)

Last night it was colder when my DSis lives than it was in the Arctic so I'd say that winter is coming early.

OYBBK any idea if NI will receive any more snow, the beebs forecast for next week looks to have highs of 9° or 10°, but it still feels bitterly cold, possibly wind chill factor pretends to know what I'm talking about
We would dearly love more snow here, as long as I don't have to drive in it.

We have had about 12 flakes snow. This has given me the green light to start on the mulled wine tonight.

It's freezing here! I'm in York: was caught in the middle of a bit of a blizzard at lunchtime. It's a bit sleety now but still bloody freezing - wind chill of -8deg (apparently).

It's snowing in Bucks! It won't settle but kids excited! Don't think it was forecast so a bit exciting.

We had snow last night. I had the clear it off the car before I drove to work. Hoping for a warmer morning tomorrow when I have to be at work earlier.
