Snow warnings tonight for parts of Scotland and then through this weekend a significant cool down across the uk, perhaps possibly with some wintry showers across England next week. It’s a complex picture, that may not come off, but the most likely scenario at present does seem to be for a much colder outlook.

Yes, looks like there could be something sleety/snowy on the way. There's also a weather warning over your way, covering some of Scotland and down the eastern side of the UK for today and into tomorrow.

We're within the weather warning zone but... nothing. No snow and it's not bitingly cold just a bit chilly

had snow in E Surrey for over an hour now, huge massive flakes earlier, nothing lying on the ground though

Tut. I'm jealous now. BBC says cold and icy in places for us but no sign of snow. My car tells me it's 3°. It feels much colder, very bright though, sunglasses are a necessity.

It’s snowing here in Kent. It started while I was out walking my puppy in the park and she was both confused and delighted by the flakes swirling around her.

Also jealous ~ some of you have quite a covering (including Upperlimit/Woohoo )

It's 3.9C here (Leicester) and we have nothing in the way of snow ~ just bright sunshine and a chilly breeze.

The downside.

It's back with dark skies & huge flakes. Hopeful will still be on the ground when school finishes.
