Anyone know what Central London is like?

DH's first day at his new job so really needs to try and get in.
Previously he would have just worked from home but he doesnt know what work/Project he will be doing yet!

Hoping the trains are running ok as its already an hours commute as it is.

School is closed tomorrow

Ours will also decide at 7am, I'm generally there from 6ish but live 15 miles away so dreading journey

Pigley, I know that SWtrains are running a revised timetable, I don't know about other operators but its worth checking.

Walked the dog 45 minutes ago in the shropshire hills.It was like Narnia here,beautifully clean,pristine,white[has snowed fairly heavily].There was a bird singing that sounded like faint sleigh bells and i kept on expecting the snow queen/ice queen to appear!

I know I mustn't be greedy manky, but all Im asking is for one snow day!!

Redwelly - I know, fed up of it when it comes to things like DS' hospital apt. We live over an hour away so am dreading the journey. Mind you, DH has just arranged a days annual leave so we can go together in the bigger car. I'm just hoping that they grit/ clear the roads. Surely it happening over the weekend gives them plenty of notice to sort it.

Gah, just had a text message from our school saying they will be open as per usual tomorrow...

Grrrrr our school open as well - just a delayed start to allow everyone to get in.

Not sure if our school will be open tomorrow. I work there at lunchtime. I hope to get to the hospital on Tuesday as i am having three painful teeth out!

We've had loads again today (brum). Both schools my dc go to are closed tomorrow.

I don't want a snow day - am invigilating at a different school tomorrow morning.

OYBBK will it be snowy early on in the morning? DC are with XH tonight so hopefully he can get them to school OK

Another day of having both DC at home may finish me off!

dc school will decide once it stops but another local school has said it will open. Had more today than on Friday.

I'm in north wales MrsPoirot but tbf I think it's a combination of factors, albeit all stemming from the weather!

I've not been contacted but school has numerous communication methods so I've checked them - twitter and an iPhone app

also might have a day off on Tuesday as well
