Thanks lubey, that is one very impressive hailstone. It is intriguing how so many of them are shaped, as though they all stuck together.

It would be ace if you can manage the TORRO report, Id like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has done so, so far. They are very interesting indeed and are helping to put together a really good picture of what happened.

Thanks to kind people offering help. Really appreciate this, although we are managing OK now. Our DSs are grown up young men and have been helping DH and me to deal with it all. Hopefully, we will have a new window and repaired roof soon enough and the car will be sorted out. It was all a horrible shock, but nowhere near as bad as those people who have had floods.

OYBBK are there any saved radar pics of the storm as it passed my area? (hinckley) I would be massively interested and in awe to see what was happening. I couldn't look at the time as was at work early morning, then got home to the storm and switched everything off, then had to rush off to London. I'm gutted I couldn't geek out with radar.

Gurl, I'm glad you are managing ok, i can't imagine what it is like to actually go through that.
