Dd didnt have sprouts this year!! She just had carrot and potato!

I havent tried toast yet. We have been so busy with Christmas that we havent bought any bread!!

Dd is still loving her food! She is having 4 bottles a day now and Im trying to get some juice into her as she isnt having many wet nappies now.

Blooing dps brother gave her some ice cream today - Ahhhhh! She loved it and only had a small bit but Im still annoyed!

She is pooing about 6 times a day now!!! Only little bits but its a nightmare!

How is everyone else getting on??

Yep still going strong here. We have had a few exciting new tastes... after she enjoyed eggy bread at my mum's on xmas morning I made her spanish omelette, which she loved and was very easy for her to eat. This evening she had pasta with tuna and cheese. She found the shells a little tricky to pick up but she enjoyed that too.

But OMG the poo!!! It comes out as fast as it goes in

I would be very annoyed about the ice cream. I know some of my inlaws think I have been very mean to not let her have any chocs over xmas. But I don't let it bother me- I am planning to make THE biggest choc cake for her first birthday which will be so delicious it will be worth the wait! I'm sure it wont have done your DD any harm though.. just keep an eye on that one in the future!

Well, I mashed up a banana for dd last night - She gagged, was nearly sick and wouldnt eat it!!! Its the first food she hasnt liked.

I am struggling for new ideas of what to introduce - Sweet potato, carrot, potato and brocolli are her favs. She has a fruit jar for pudding.

What else can I give her. I havent given her meat yet.

Was thinking about butternut squash but have never cooked it before. Maybe spinach but I cant imagine it pureeing very well!!

Everyone else ok?

I just had to come here and tell you all what dd ate today. She wolfed down her tea which consisted of pasta with chopped tomatoes and grated cheese and a massive chunck of chicken. It was really tender chicken and the piece was big enough for her to hold in her hand while she slurped and chewed off the end. She loved it!

Have had a couple of days of not feeling very inspired so was made up to see her eat this

The really daft thing is I am veggie so should not be so chuffed with my little carnivore!

Laura- a tip for butternut squash is to to put the whole thing in the oven for about 30 mins. Then much easier to peel.

Hi!

Wow, she is doing really well. Well done for cooking meat even though you dont eat it.

We dont eat fish but I will cook it for dd as I want her to try everything.

Good tip about butternut squash. It took me ages to peel and cut it!!

I made spag bol for dd the other day and she gagged on it!! I will try that one again tomorrow I think.
