Actually - baby was 14 weeks old unadjusted - so actually only 9 weeks old "adjusted". That's why I was partcicualry and
I actually try to avoid the subject at work - despite (or maybe becasue) I am so passionate about bf - as the prevailing view (unfortuantely pretty common in Glasgow) is that "bf is difficult" and that "babies often need more" or any other of a range of reasons and I am scared that if I make any comment I iwll sound jusgementel. The "orthodoxy" seems to be that bf won't succeed - or will only work for a short while - a sad fact that is refelcted in the latest statisitcs.
