Anyone got reasonable turnip prices?

So I've been sharing a console and island with my teen dd since day one. She's the main character so is the one controlling all the progression RE plots. We've always shared a town on the same device and it's never been a problem but we've never been in the middle of a pandemic and both using the game as a distraction before. I ended up buying myself a switch lite and and my own copy of the game, we can now do whatever we want on our own islands as well as play together properly (the same device multiplayer is shit imo)

It looking forward to starting all over again, I'd played 150 + hours. Ok gonna move my items and plants and trees over though. Dd has one half and I had the other half.

@ritzbiscuits nintendo I find is one of the more child friendly for children, they chat function in game doesn't allow certain offensive words, I can't even use "shell" as my name because it detects "hell" as an offensive word, but I'd still advise caution as with dodo codes he can join total strangers worlds without needing to be friends on the switch first. There's some arseholes who take delight in searching public threads for dodo codes and then trash the place. They are limited to the damage they can do if they don't list them as a best friend. Best friends can chop down trees and dig up flowers. So If he wants people over I wouldn't ooen his gates to everyone and post his dodo code online.

There's also a voice chat feature if he uses nook link which as unlikely as it might be, unless you've set his profile as a child it would be possible for adults to speak to him that way.

If you don't already have an online Nintendo subscription I've got slots left on my family account and can give him membership til December for free if you drop me a PM.

Do I need to be told about a meteor shower, or will it just happen?

Guys, I need a favour please!! If I was to reset my island, would anyone here mind if I popped over a few times to cache a load of my stuff, then in a few days when I'm able to fly again, come back for it??!

I know resetting is a lot of work but now I've played for a few weeks and I'm not happy with my new islanders or my layout so I think I'd be happier just starting again (but with fruit, bells and some furniture 😂😂).

Isabelle will tell if you if one's due to happen in her morning briefing. I think they can happen randomly as well, if you find Celeste wandering about on your island you'll probably get a few shooting stars that night.

New books. You are more than welcome to cache some stuff in mine too if you can wait a day or so. I'm literally in the process of doing the same myself so will have an empty house once the character on my new switch has been and got her stuff. I have to wait for my airport to open but might end up time travelling for that lol.

Just got a stink bug on another island!

I line the grass verges on my beaches with white flowers and get loads of orchid mantises and man faces stink bugs, as I'm fishing I'll grab the bugs at the same time.

OK I've got all my stuff packed and ready to go...don't need house storage, I can just pop it all on a corner of your island out of your way! If you're happy for me to do this, please message me on here tomorrow when you'll be online for half hour or so to allow me to make a trip or 2 over to you! Ill happily give you bells and stuff for your trouble!! I'll cash out my nook miles in tickets (that'll be a trip in itself!!) so can leave you some of those too. Just please don't steal all my stuff while I'm gone 😉
