Think I've found spider island I've heard about, there's not much here but loads of rocks, at least 6, and I see 3 tarantulas so far, not approached any yet to attempt to catch. 😂

I caught 20 tarantulas, they were tedious to catch as i kept fainting (the character, not me 😂) It was worth it for 160,000 bells!

I've put hours and hours into the game cos I'm a saddo and trying to breed flowers etc. Even just popping to the island and becoming friends so we can send mail to each other etc.

I created my own tarantula Island. It took me 15 minutes or so to clear it all and start seeing them. Been here well over an hour since then, I've caught 8, been bitten upwards of 25 times now. Why am I still trying??!

@MrsBooks how do you create your own island?! I don't know my dodo code but I'm Christabel. Will check back tomorrow!

@rosesandcashmere there are YouTube videos on how to do it but basically you travel to an island (the smaller and flatter the better) and pick up all the weeds, take the heads off all the flowers, chop down all the trees and dig up the stumps, smash the rocks. Once that's all gone, all you'll only be able to spawn the little rock bugs, black hoppy things, and tarantulas. Run round the island scaring the bugs and hoppers and keep an eye out for the tarantulas.

I ended up with 17 before I'd had enough.
