It was my lucky day today, shiny Sneasel, shiny Zigazigoon, shiny Zubat and 12 shiny Ralts! I'be been walking round with the biggest all day!

I caught nearly 40 Ralts and only one chuffing shiny! Not best pleased. And my first rocket battle in days froze so I couldn’t complete it.

I managed 6 shiny Ralts yesterday, all crap IV though but still better than last community day where out of about 100 mudkips I got the grand total of 0 shinies!

I did evolve a Gardevoir yesterday at 2720 CP and 15-12-15 IV. 93% I think. That's probably crappy to most but it's my strongest pokemon so far. Still really getting to grips with the IVs now and trying to educate myself but so much to learn. Im level 27 but until recently I was plodding along evolving terrible pokemon just for the collection...when I think of the wasted candy 😭

I forgot about ralts day

93% is pretty great in my book. It's just levelling them up that's annoying. I've got an 88% Gallade but it's like level 18 (CP 688) so I'm annoyed. It's got synchonoise though which is a great move. I went out to a great spot to play and...forgot my fricking power supply. So, missed out on a shiny gardevoir with the move. Annoying. I love ralts and the evolutions so that was a great day for me.

@funnelfanjo thanks for levelling up - I hope thefrankster got the XP, apols I forgot until 20 past as DP was messing about before we went out.

I’ve had to hand in my work phone, so TheFrankster is now operating in my iPad only, which really limits what I can do with the account at the moment. I’ll try to keep it ticking over - maybe when I hit level 40 with MsSnuddle I’ll switch to TheFrankster on my own phone. We’ll see.

Is there any way of knowing in advance what shadow Pokemon you’ll get before battling? I keep getting the same 3, rattata, zubat and raticate. I need a fire, water or grass type for research challenge

If you get the taunt "do you know how hot Pokemon fire breath can get?" you get to battle Charmander, Charmeleon, Charmeleon, for which the reward is Charmeleon.
