Shiny new thread. Work means I've only walked 5.2km this week, though Fitbit says it's 11.9.

I tried out the Poke Genie new functionality and it seems to work really well assessing and renaming the wee beasties from within PokeGo itself. Well worth the few quid upgrade. Thumbs up from me.

I have to trade a Pokemon for field research, I have to do that with someone nearby right? And we have to be friends? I’ve kept various Pokemon that I caught in 2016/7 as I heard it’s a good thing for trading but I don’t really understand how it works.

@HakunaRattatas I definitely want to coordinegg. If possible please could we wait 6 days so I can get a few more friends to level up. I have another group levelling up in about 20 days

So, you know how I've moaned before about Pogo getting the weather woefully wrong? They excelled themselves yesterday.
It's hot here. Scorchio hot and sunny.
We finally crept outside to start raiding at 8pm ish - it was still 30 degrees.
PoGo thought it was raining.
Only this time no one reported it as all the kyogres were weather-boosted.

My bloody stardust has disappeared today. Powering up my Pokemon and it went a hell of a lot quicker than I thought

Scarcity of stardust is why I only power up those critters I use for battle or raids.
