FALLOUT 4 IS HERE!!!!

I preordered from Amazon and it came today, played for a couple of hours while the small one was at nursery now waiting for everyone to go to bed so I can continue!

So far I'm missing DJ Three Dog but everything else is spot on.

The Power armour should be slowly flashing on the world map.

That's what I did! I threatened her then when I tried to trade she said something about shooting her in the face so I thought what the hell and shot her, a few times. Power armour was flashing in sanctuary, then Preston jumped into it whilst trying to kill me so I ran for it, then I couldn't find it again Hmm, will have a harder look for it once I've done the pre school run and put dd2 for a nap. May also consult Google to see if this has happened to anyone else.

Preston is spectacularly annoying I might try that tactic. I've accidentally started Just Cause 3 so having a break from Fallout mainly because of Preston

I've just started playing this and my armoured suit is out of power. I can only move slowly. I'm on my way to waste some raiders.

Abandon it, or just put up with the slower pace?

Abandon it there are more sets out there I played most of the game without power armour

I've been in a break as I haven't been able to dedicate the time. 4 more weeks and I'll be back in it. I've been exploring and keep dying as I'm not high enough level or with good enough weapons for the big beasties yet.

Yeah I only used power armour for the glowing sea

I've used power armour a lot, pretty much all the time now I have loads of fusion cores. My first went missing but I got another one from the Brotherhood when I found the Prydwyn. I'm a wuss and I feel safer with it.

Currently at level 34, just got into the institute after fannying about with side quests and what not. I love how you can go through at your own pace. What level was everyone else when they got in? I used the Railroad to help me. Also got some guy I killed's (Malcolm?) father out for my blood in Diamond City so that's fun.

Is anyone playing on pc becuase you can now opt into the fallout 4 survival mode beta. It is really hard and fun and you just spend a lot more time playing the game. I am now level 23 and only just got to diamond city

I've been watching Many A True Nerd with the beta - looks PAINFUL

It is really annoying if you die without sleeping but once you get a good rifle you can take out most bad guys with one or two shots. At the end of the beta 1.5.1 will be released and the survival mode will be for all platforms so I recommend going with high endurance and getting the life giver perk so you get +60 health and regeneration
