I preordered from Amazon and it came today, played for a couple of hours while the small one was at nursery now waiting for everyone to go to bed so I can continue!

So far I'm missing DJ Three Dog but everything else is spot on.

Very late to the party as I only got the game ooooh... about 2 weeks and it's already taken over my life to an extent! Any gaming time I have is spent on there. But, I'm only Level 16 :(

Currently feeling happy that I can now hold my own against super mutants :) but does anyone else find any time they have to go to a subway station the Creepiest Thing Ever?

Currently ambling around, looking for side quests and stuff to scrap so I can improve my settlements. I love the drive in but that pond is nasty!

I just bought an Xbox one yesterday (after my 360 broke) and now have fallout 4 so I've just started and am shit right now. Currently doing early quests etc.

I used to avoid subways, but they're easy now I've got good weapons :)

I have Overseer's Guardian pimped up, and a double shot assault rifle

I'm hooked. Only started playing last week, level 11, but I know I'm going to loose months of my life to this game. I've joined the minutemen and brotherhood of steel, am am another one just ambling about looking for areas to uncover and quests to do before heading for diamond city. I love dogmeat now I've got the hang of controlling him! His bottomless pockets are very handy as I always seem to run out of inventory space!

I'm level 44 now and just organised my settlement provisioner connections to a big circuit instead of a messy spider web. I felt bad for the ones who had to travel far although I don't think they can die. If your settlements show inaccurate stats on the workshop summary you can solve it by visiting settlements then leaving the workshop zone before fast travelling anywhere. I love this game so much I'm trying not to speed through the main quest or overlook any details. I'm also trying to rely less on VATS and get good at aiming my rifle free hand, and blowing the legs off glowing ones instead of soiling myself and running away. I made a cute balcony apartment for myself on the roof of Abernathy farm... I heard villagers can steal from containers but mine never have, maybe because I give them decent armor and weapons? Also I have the best ever Amy Winehouse do and imperator furiosa face paint.

Hopefully getting this game on PS4 for my birthday in just under 2 weeks time. Been following this thread for a while and can't wait! Never played any of the fallout games before, but im giving into the hype, hopefully it's worth it. Trying to convince dp to let me have my present early but he's not having any of it

Success! Managed to persuade dp to let me have the game early The wait was driving me mad and I was dead bored in the evenings after finishing the Uncharted collection for the second time. Been playing it in the evenings and when dd1 is at pre-school and dd2 is napping when I should really be doing housework for the past week, currently level 11. Never played any of the fallout games before so it's all new to me, still figuring out which weapons are better, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. I use my power armour a lot as there are some areas where I don't really feel strong enough to deal with, but running out of power and not having any more power cores is a pain. There's so much to do! I could spend hours building settlements, but I also want to explore and complete quests too. I find I get sidetracked a lot which with this game isn't necessarily a bad thing. Loving the open world sand box aspect of it. Still have Dogmeat as my companion but I'm thinking of changing to Codsworth soon. I've just discovered the Brotherhood and have been doing quests for them. I can definitely see myself putting a lot of hours into the game. Can't play at the moment as I'm at the PILs for the weekend will be able to get back to it tomorrow evening though.

I've had a break and came back to the game today - am finding it easier as my level goes up, thankfully! Just dreading having to head further south. Apparently, south of the map is where the really nasty stuff lives... :(

Level 49 now :) Just starte the BoS mission "proper" am aboard the Prydwen :)

Up to level 14 now, had a good go on it last night and then for an hour this morning, got the Castle last night and completed a mission for the BOS this morning that I started a few days ago (forget what it was called now). I'm slowly plodding along at my own pace.

Me too (plodding) ignoring my DHs "helpful" comments such as "go and out in power armour and storm in there!"

My dp is the same, he has never played a fallout game in his life

I always get "oh, that was pretty good actually" after I clear out some ferals or whatever!

I killed a merchant woman and her cow thingy who appeared in Sanctuary (in fairness she did invite me to shoot her..) then Preston started shooting me. Now I can't find Preston and my power armour has gone missing. Sigh.

I threatened the woman in Sanctuary by accident and now she wont trade with me :(
