I preordered from Amazon and it came today, played for a couple of hours while the small one was at nursery now waiting for everyone to go to bed so I can continue!

Also in VATS, if a target has a skull after their name, it means they are definitely much tougher than you are, and you might want to re-consider.

Just been playing - have increased my relationship with maccready but not enough. Don't you hate it when a mercenary plays hard to get?

I'm level 37, just levelled up.

1st Character - Lvl 38. Jack of All Trades Build (completed)
2nd Character - Lvl 52 Scientist Build (Main Character atm)
3rd Character - Lvl 16 Sharpshooter Build (with McCready)
4th Character - Lvl 1 Charisma Build (Postponed due to me starting a sixth play through of Mount&Blade Warband)

Highest DRs are
Ballistic/Physical - 1820
Energy - 1390
Radiation - 1050
X-01 Mk VI power armour with a cute little purple headlamp, 102 Mentats and 54 PhyscoJet

I've found out how to stream the Xbox to my laptop, so bonus is I can play on that and they can play on the 360 on the tv.

DH thinks Snifle is a great name and is currently renaming his Sniper Rifle!

I love strong I want to work through Curie's quest but am getting nowhere fast so have jumped to McCready for a while I did like the artillery at The Castle

I have the companion perk for MacCready and Codswallop so far. I did start with Deacon but he is a PITA as he whinges about violence. How on earth are you supposed to play the game without killing anyone? I got fed up with him and switched to Danse. I am ready to go to the Institute but want to get a load more companion perks first.

I have Piper's and Strong's perk am working on Curie and McCready

Tell me about these companion perks. How will I know when I've got them and how do I get them? Do I keep them when I change companion?

You have to keep impressing tour companion. It will tell you in the upper left "companian liked/disliked that"
Then eventually the will admire you and then at some point they will initiate a conversation with you and you'll get the perk (might not be the first conversation)

My companion is currently Deacon, he likes me picking locks and dislikes drugs

You can check which perks you've got in the status menu I'm another one who doesn't often bother with power armour I do like the ability to modify my armour

I had to abandon power armour I got chased by a sentrybot and nearly drowen. Its now at the bottom of a river somewhere!

I really love my aquaboy perk I am rubbish under water

Does anyone know the name of that lazer rifle? Or is that it's official name?

I was using it on Saturday and it's bloomin' awesome.

I've currently got Dogmeat carrying around my power armour, in his magic dog pockets.
