What's happened to Leicester?

Has there been some terrible natural diaster? Has the north/south divide moved further south and separated the 'Leic' from the 'ester'?

How awful, we should have a whip round.

Whoops. South to North means the lower one first...

I did the list in the order it would appear on a map

georgimama · 10/10/2008 22:16

Elliot, Glasgow is definitely NOT south of Newcastle.

retiredgoth · 10/10/2008 22:17

How can Glasgow be south of Newcastle??

Have the rebellious scots upped and moved it south to take advantage of longer daylight hours??

Bet they had a job humping it over that big wall thingy.....

schwotz · 10/10/2008 22:17

How is Leeds further south than Manchester ?

ChippyMinton · 10/10/2008 22:19

is it leeds/man?

FAQ · 10/10/2008 22:20

ahh - I've always thought of Leicester being south of Birmingham as it's quicker to get to Leicester by car or train from here (further south) than it is Birmingham
