It must be bristol (see my earlier comment on carlisle). Edinburgh is surprisingly far west, and Glasgow is definitely west of edindburgh!

pointygravedogger · 10/10/2008 22:53

really? bristol?>

retiredgoth · 10/10/2008 22:54

..tried to cheat on the easterly question.

Sadly Google maps crashed the browser on my ancient eBay purchased clockwork mac......

So have to guess at Edinburgh.

schwotz · 10/10/2008 22:55

I think it is Bristol
Bristol is a marvel on the map

Is the UK very squinty then?

elliott · 10/10/2008 22:56

Just check out www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ukweather/
Its definitely bristol...

WendyWeber · 10/10/2008 22:57

The UK is very very squinty - I'm surprised it doesn't topple over

elliott · 10/10/2008 22:58

Yes, when they talk about 'eastern england' in the weather forecast I have to remember that it doesn't mean the north east coast...

pointygravedogger · 10/10/2008 22:59

ahh. and I always forget about wales getting in the way of everything

retiredgoth · 10/10/2008 22:59

...Bristol in the east?

Crikey.

I'm a cockney and never realised.....

Might explain the cravings for jellied eels and the strange sense of euphoria induced by Chas 'n' Dave....

It is all coming together.

Thank you.
