I want a house ON the beach with a hot tub

PLUS dog friendly

It doesn't exist Sad

I need all 3 as differing requirements. Need to see young-ish children, have hot tub for oldies plus must have dog with us.

I've literally searched every site, hoping that someone has stayed in one individual place exactly like this

That's lovely Peonies but can't take dog with us to the beach

It's more about not carrying things, nipping to loo - leaving the 7 year old to build a sandcastle without actually doing it with her (sitting on deck with a glass of wine directing would be preferable)

Sorry but you are being totally unrealistic with this. You can't find it because it doesn't exist. Lots of super compromises linked here though..

This has the beach and the dogs

It exists

I just have to believe WinkGrin

I've found one that's perfect so far from the posts and messaged the owners - it looks like it's booked for next decade...

Maybe hot tubs and dogs are mutually incompatible, I mean would you want to use a hot tub which an enthusiastic Labrador had dived into?Grin

LaurieFairyCake · 28/05/2019 09:54

Tunt - that's LOVELY. Why oh why doesn't it have a hot tub

Are you on Facebook? Join the group 'Dog Friendly Holiday Accommodation'. You can post your exact requirements and if anyone has a property that fits the criteria they will let you know. You'll have to state that it is for next year though as everywhere is pretty much fully booked for this summer.

LaurieFairyCake · 28/05/2019 09:55

I've found dozens rurally with hot tubs and dogs -presumably they're all too high for doggies to jump into Errol Grin - just none on the beach

Thank you Smolo - joined on Facebook

There are quite a few holiday lets round here, (wouldn't suit you as not by sea) and also a company which does short hires of hot tubs. They deliver set up and pick up at the end of the week or whatever
I'd look for the perfect place on the beach which takes dogs, then message the owners and ask if they would be ok with you setting up a hot tub while you are there. If they are ok with it look for a local tub hire firm

justaweeone · 28/05/2019 10:10

Ooh this is nice
No hot tub though !

Really need to get on and stop procrastinating Grin

babysharkah · 28/05/2019 10:16

I think you're going to struggle - most beach places are on prime beach and most of them don't allow dogs on beach in summer ime.

babysharkah · 28/05/2019 10:17

Camber is fab but no dogs in summer apart from the extreme ends.

Peoniesandcats · 28/05/2019 10:18

I've found a couple but looks like there are seasonal dog bans at the beaches which is annoying! Could try and book just before Easter? The weather is sometimes nice in April

Let us know if you find anywhere!

Peoniesandcats · 28/05/2019 10:21

Think we are all procrastinating now and will all book a lovely staycation after looking at all these homes Grin

LaurieFairyCake · 28/05/2019 10:32

Yeah the seasonal dog ban is a small issue - not too bad if there's a fence and then the beach as I can keep the dog off it and take her for separate walks

GreekOddess · 28/05/2019 10:39

This one is beautiful but it's in Scotland. www.homeaway.co.uk/p1937639

It’s quite common to hire a hot tub for a holiday let, there are loads of companies that come and set them up for a few days then Collect it

peanutbutterismydownfall · 28/05/2019 10:43

Friends (or the grandmother anyway) have this exact set up. It's not rented out as it's her family home. There's even a couple of pubs & restaurants within walking distance.
Whilst it sounds - and is - idyllic in many ways, we never let our similar aged kids on the beach unsupervised. In the winter, dogs are allowed on the beach & you never know how a dog is going to behave. In the summer, the beach gets quite busy so you can't quite see the children and you're constantly doing a head count of those in the sea, those building sandcastles and those in between only to suddenly worry that you've been counting the wrong child as, in shortie wetsuits, they all look pretty similar.

There’s one I know of but it’s in Wales so not where you want to go it’s Ann’s Beach House in Tywyn available through agency Lounge Lettings. Just across a path from the sea. And Tywyn is wonderful for kids. I’ve stayed in various nearby houses for years as Ann’s is too big for us but friends of ours have rented it and been back several times.

This is a stunning location, pet friendly and has a hot tub. The beach huts on this stretch are the most expensive in the UK! www.holidaycottages.co.uk/south-coast/hampshire/waters-retreat
