I want a house ON the beach with a hot tub

PLUS dog friendly

It doesn't exist Sad

I need all 3 as differing requirements. Need to see young-ish children, have hot tub for oldies plus must have dog with us.

I've literally searched every site, hoping that someone has stayed in one individual place exactly like this

Try loghouseholidays. Co. Uk

They arw not on sea beach but on lake beach.
In the cotswolds, only 8 in total on a vast very secluded lake, pet friendly all year, beach directly on doorstep, hot tub and your own rowing boat.

We went last Yr, it was utterly magical place, we felt like we had stumbled upon a deserted different world.. And we had very free ranging god children aged 10 and 8, and two dogs with us.
It was like the famous five meets swallow and amazon's

Oh and this rave review is from someone who lives all year round in a house with direct beach access (no hot tub)... And while we love it, when we have little ones to stay you cannot just let them onto the beach on their own... Not because of "weirdos" more because the beach is busy, you can't always see them, they may wander down to the sea etc etc.

This has a hot tub and beach access. But you won’t be able to see your kid from the hot tub. Looks gorgeous though!

Likewise this one I suspect

Persea, that last one is gorgeous but ten minutes drive from the beach

Loving the log cabin holidays on the lake in the Cotswolds- just have to persuade my sister in law

Laurie.. I am incredibly lucky to live on one of the cornish beaches already mentioned... But middle of school holidays I'd take the cotswolds lake anytime.
My dp commented that if they just had a couple of bears about and an inflatable orca in lake we could belive we were in canada... Without having to fly.
I always wanted the holiday you dream about when my dds were little... Wanted to sit sipping vino watching them frolic on beach... But reality is unless its a private beach, any school holidays this dream is a nightmare of trying to keep eye on your child or your dog amongst squillions of others... It is never the old fashioned, quaint seaside holiday you dream off.
The lakes was that holiday... OK my dds and dsds now adults but my younger god children loved it, we literally sat in hot tub with champagne and watched them rowing on the lake, jumping in, swimming, messing about on beach... Bliss

So check out Nefyn Beach and porthdinllaen beach. Not far from your previous black rock sands (30 min)
Dogs are allowed and the houses are directly on the sand.
However no hot tub. It’s not comparable. As in sand blowing in to it?!
But, you could if it was important enough Rent one to be delivered.
I own holiday cottage and wouldn’t give 2 figs is some one wanted to do that

Hundreds of beach side properties with hot tubs - just very few dog friendly

I think my SIL might come round to the lakeside one - it looks so great

It was great.
And for a 7 Yr old, much safer water than surf of North Cornwall.. If you want them to have some freedom or in other words you don't want to be in a wetsuit in the surf with them.
The biggest house is on its own island with a pool aswell as hot tub.
One evening my dp rowed me out to middle of lake and we drifted lying back watching stars.. It was like a bloody romcom.. I thought he was going to propose.. Dear reader.. He didn't!!!
I don't mind.. ☺ But it was that kinda of magic

justaweeone · 29/05/2019 12:27

The lakeside ones look perfect
Also fair comment re the beach being busy

LittleAndOften · 29/05/2019 14:00

Were you not keen on the Sussex ones OP? Some of those were right on the beach with hot tubs and all pet friendly. Although it sounds like you've made your decision with the Cotswolds Grin

PS can I come Wink

LaurieFairyCake · 29/05/2019 17:23

I like the Sussex ones but too pebbly for the others. A bit of sand at low tide and we want as much sand as we can get.

After trying to persuade her of the Lake one in the Cotswolds she's saying No and we're now holding out for Mawgan Porth - even if we have to book for 2021 Grin

Ahh I see. Well hope you get the one you want!

Theredjellybean · 30/05/2019 21:51

Definitely her loss

Skyejuly · 31/05/2019 10:49

Go without her!

How about this? Too many steps?

Or this looks like the place next door and one photo seems to have the front lawn right next to the sand.

Of if you wanted to splash out, you could definitely watch DC from the hot tub in this one.

We have a family friendly, dog friendly holiday house (sleeps 7) with a hot tub AND only a 2 min walk on flat ground to the beach...no roads, all our own private land so safe for kids. Deer in the garden! Sorry can’t do right on beach with house & hot tub. We are in Scotland - my brother brings his dog on the train from London! Www.kintyreholidays.co.uk
