Have booked Morton of Pitmilly as per your recommendation on another thread.

Any info, top tips on where to go? Not going till August.

TIA

Oh god, double posting now. Time for bed, I think!

£5.50 , that's for the can of coke. There are no Scots in St Andrews, apart from me and DH(and we are not technically in St Andrews, but very near). There's Americans, Japanese, English, Australians and that's just the students. Then, in the summer, when the students are away home, we get the same nationalitys visitng as tourists. And of course, gobbledigook, who started the thread.

Just make sure to hide all your valuables and lock all doors and windows as you enter Dundee .

I'm off to bed now, i was going half a hour ago. DS2 is in my bed, so will need to move him

Very true, salty. There are Scots who come into St. Andrew's. To work. Then when they're shift is over they go back to Cupar, Anstruther, etc.

Reminds me of the time DH and I got lost in an area of Edinburgh known as 'The Grange'. Erm, the houses sell for about £3m in there.

So DH got out to ask a man trimming hedges for directions. He came back grinning. He said the chap said, 'Are you hear about the junior groundskeeper job?' DH said, 'Why do you ask that?' The man replied, 'The only Scots around here are staff.'

Ooh, thanks so much everyone! A bit to be going on there!

It'll be FUN!

Just get your husband to wait in the queue in that steaming hot chippy in Anstruther.

You and the wee ones can eat out on the beach!

I'm back. There are a lot of English people where i live, but that's the military lifestyle, not because the houses cost £3m, good grief everyone would sign up if they were.
It would be the same here, the only Scots in the place are military or workers!

Better you than me, GDG.

Night night, salty.

I've never actually seen a £3m house, though, because they've got some high hedges round 'em.
