I know there is a thread about the theft of some pre publication editions of this book.
This thread is more by way of a book club discussion about the actual book , the text. Threads will go where they will , but my intention is this is more for me to give my opinion on the book and for others who read it or are interested in the book to join in. I have pre-ordered from Kindle (half price otherwise I may not have 😊) But is only available on September 22nd. So a holding place if you like.

The first paragraph seems to sum up the whole book.

I totally disagree. A photo is just a split second in time. May he slid his hand down her hair, got caught on an earring and it just ended there. Or she turned her face as someone called her name,

Slightly OT but people might be interested in When it Hits the Fan this week as it deals with the PR aspects.

Well why post it at all? At the very least it’s an unflattering photo of his parents and quite frankly looks disturbing. The fact that you are having to do mental gymnastics to find reasons for it looking “off” would suggest it was a bad choice

Possibly it was CS himself who took it. And his choice to post it. It clearly means something to him. And no mental gymnastics on my part. Loads of photos look "off".

Charles would have been very advanced to have taken such a photo - it was taken in the 60’s and CS was born in 1964! I believe his parents parted when he was three, so a very clever child indeed!

Some of you would and do support absolutely anything the royals do.
