I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

Perhaps it would help if they stopped stoking the media through leaks from 'friends' and deliberately provocative Instagram posts.

So why the fuck come back to the UK and and advertise your location and schedule?

Don’t you realise there will have been a lot of preparation and induction already and no doubt the school will have been talked about at home and the children told how fantastic it would be etc?

And then suddenly…all change, for very young children who’ve already had a huge change in their lives. They’d honestly be better off settling boarding if this farce is the alternative.

As a former teacher I can assure you this is far from ideal.

There was no "supposed" treachery. It was real unless you call taking the p* out of your husband's elderly grandmother on TV perfectly good manners. Or endlessly complaining about his privileged upbringing. Some people struggle to pay bills and feed their kids and these 2 overpampered people are never happy. They irritate me with their complete lack of self awareness and sense of entitlement. And it's now to do with the her skin colour ffs. It's time some people got over the fact that the woman's coffee coloured. Most of us don't care. Maybe you shouldn't either.

The BBC is also reporting it. And nobody would be reporting it if H&M had first, done a minimal amount of research into what the school run was likely to be like, and second, kept quiet. Nobody would have known anything about it if 'a source close to the couple' hadn't talked about it.

Basically this whole obsession with securidee is SO American, so Hollywood. It’s really alien to UK life. Celebrities here don’t go in for this level of self-importance - what? Three car convoys?? They are ridiculous.

For the 3rd time, this story was originally reported in Hello magazine. Which means it was almost certainly leaked by the Sussexes themselves.

I’m sure HAM know exactly what they’re doing - they will continue to create mayhem all day, every day for the publicity.

Well they have now created a massive circus: lots of coverage on tv the morning. There will now be speculation about the new school, their arrangements for the school run etc whereas if they’d just kept their mouths shut no-one would be speculating. They’ve just made their security’s job much harder.

Dangerous because there is traffic? That’s a bit of a stretch. I don’t think anyone with half a brain will believe that (clearly that doesn’t include some of their followers) so I don’t think there will be any damage to most people’s image of Britain just because of this pair of idiots

We all struggle with the school run ffs…Just leave a bit earlier or ride a bike… or choose a primary school that’s easy walking distance! 😄

Very neglectful of their parents not to ensure adequate security arrangements for them then.

Why didn't they just stay in California? They seem to have been perfectly safe there.

Their parent’s behaviour is the biggest threat to their safety. Why put out that video basically doxxing themselves? For what purpose? They didn’t have to do that.

I guess both? Being stuck in traffic makes you more vulnerable from a security pov?

I think most people would have been quite happy for them to stay in California!
