Donald Trump speaks out about Harry and Meghan

Donald Trump has spoken out. He says he is glad Harry and Meghan have left the US. Says he is not a fan. And says they have shown great disrespect to the royal family and Charles shouldn't have them back. I don't disagree with any of that.

Yes, that's slightly strange. It might be a reason he won't become president unless he dumps her, though, so it's not all bad.

I do think it’s quite weird to talk about what Trump says about anything as if he were a normal US president. He posts AI videos of things like him flying a plane and dumping shit (literal shit) on protestors and that’s one of the least harmful and mad things he’s done. The level of corruption of his administration is off the scale and he doesn’t care about national or international law. His mental deterioration means he’s frequently incoherent and falls asleep in public. I could go on…

One of the US commentators reminds us at intervals that "Trump is not a source"; what she means it that nothing he says should be taken as in any way reliable.

Exactly this. I can't believe how many people would change their views in public just so they opposed trump even if they originally agreed with him in private.
