Donald Trump speaks out about Harry and Meghan

Donald Trump has spoken out. He says he is glad Harry and Meghan have left the US. Says he is not a fan. And says they have shown great disrespect to the royal family and Charles shouldn't have them back. I don't disagree with any of that.

He's right though isn't he? They did disrespect the late Queen with MM ridiculous curtsey, they lied about racist comments and slagged off the rest of them, now they're back here after everything horrible they said. I'm guessing the USA house will be sold and they won't go back there. Perhaps they are just unpopular everywhere.

I actually think they’re back because Harry was homesick and legit wants his children to be raised in his own culture.

I don’t think they see themselves as having failed in America. I also don’t see them to be living in reality.

But just because Trump is talking smack doesn’t mean he’s suddenly in my good books.

It is up to the family. We can have an opinion but it's irrelevant.

Personally, I am very pleased if KC and H&M have made amends.

I hope they will all be very happy.

He is infinitely crazier this time around.

What they do next is going to be interesting.

I think the bar is really low when people won’t say what they think no matter who else may or may not agree.

I think you are very easily convinced! There is no evidence that's they've made amends. Only that a meeting took place, most likely at H's request, and KC fulfilled it in the most basic way he could face - making sure it was at Highgrove (in the middle of a busy event he was involved with), seeing H for a very limited time and with Camilla present as a witness and only allowing M in with the children for a short time at the end.

I don't think there's any making up going on at all.

Maybe they should have stayed in Canada

DT is known for having a thing about British royalty, one of the few things he inherited from his own mother who adored British royalty.

He doesn't like HaM because they don't like him., that's the simple reason.

HaM have expressed liberal leaning views on social issues.
In 2016 Meghan publicly spoke out against DT during the presidential campaign, calling him divisive and misogynistic.
In 2020 H&M put out a video urging Americans to vote in the US election, which some critics interpreted as an implicit call to oppose DT.
Really, with a long memory and a short and vengeful fuse, it wouldn't take more than one of these grievences to make him speak out negatively against HaM.

He sounds such an overgrown toddler, When he had to appear in court a while back he asked for permission to have 'the only dwink he likes' and the judge said no, only water in court.

I do know many older people who don’t drink water. It wasn’t a thing in his generation, I guess. We only had water fountains at school and took sips even when I was a young child. No water bottles until later. Didn’t carry one around at university even.

What advice has he given KC? , he doesn't understand that the King has no power to stop them returning, he doesn't employ them and PH never gave up his citizenship, the kids were both i the UK so saying he shouldn't let them back in is just a daft meaningless thing to say, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who think the same about them.

When HaM officially stepped back from their senior royal duties end of March 2020, the Canadian RCMP said they would no longer provide, the ( by then) unpopular Canadian tax-funded private security.

Shortly after this decision, HaM packed up and moved to California, citing problems with paparazzi ( no surprise there) and of course the closure of borders between the US and Canada due to the pandemic.

Who knows if they would have stayed in Canada?

I don't believe that was ever in the cards for them, Meghan likely wanted Archie to be born in the USA, but the withdrawal of the paid for security and the pandemic and its border closures had to have been factored into their decision as well.

As far as I am concerned, they were average people and expected to make their way with hard work. Why did the president need to support them?

I would have thought that support from the current president would have made them unpopular with people they would wish to attract.

Not to mention Meghan being the wrong colour for the supporters of the current president. "One drop of blood" applies.
