He wasn’t happy with them taking advantage of her when she was getting older and more vulnerable.

Oh I see, thank you.

Like the Getty family . Allegedly.

HeirNspareBNB · 03/09/2026 18:42

She’s getting very careless.

And if you zoom in you can see her reflection. And she’s smiling. What an opportunist.

It's carefully curated 😂

It was awful and I think it’s weird when a man focuses on a woman that way. My husband would not say something like he said privately, never mind write about it publicly.

I think it was supposed to be some "humorous" take on a Game of Thrones scene. Still not acceptable, and certainly not funny.

Thanks Jeff .
Every day is a school day !

You are welcome! , it’s unusual for me to have info that others have missed.

Indeed! 😁

She’s getting very careless.

If this is a reference to her reflection, that surely must have been a stylistic choice? She is telling us this is a fond memory. Note the black outfit to fit the occasion.

Starryfifty · 03/09/2026 18:45

Her silhouette 🤣that's bizarre

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · 03/09/2026 18:46

They've unpacked quickly, if photos are on sideboards already.

You are right and I also watched game of thrones. It just crossed a line for me.

I didn’t think about that… how?!

OliveMyLove · 03/09/2026 18:50

It feels like we should have a tribute to another wealthy retired over 60 year old woman?

The photo doesn’t fit the frame, that’s what happens when you are in a hurry……freakish attention to detail eh?

Yes. I've never seen GoT.

Starryfifty · 03/09/2026 18:54

Irony is, Meg is such an anti feminist. Hunt down wealthy man. Turns out he's quite obviously misogynistic but she chooses to turn a blind eye.

Extremely scathing to women she perceives more successful, wealthy, etc than her. Pigeon holes her daughter into stereotypical "roles"

Yes, big fat smirk on her face. She’s the lowest of the low.

I thought it was common knowledge! , it was discussed here at the time.

There’s too much for the human brain to remember about those two and their shenanigans all at once. It’s pretty staggering how much they have got up to in ten years - a decade of familial, financial and para-social carnage.

OliveMyLove · 03/09/2026 18:58

PoppysAunt · 03/09/2026 18:53

Yes. I've never seen GoT.

It’s great but over the top in so many aspects. Like many shows now. I end up shutting my eyes.

The Gentlemen is riveting. I don’t like the violence one bit but the show is fabulous if you can get through that part.

HeirNspareBNB · 03/09/2026 18:59

She’s in California isn’t she?

taylorandme · 03/09/2026 18:59

OliveMyLove · 03/09/2026 18:47

And what does that ancient looking stone wall tell the viewer about their luxurious new Cotswolds property? Or is that farmhouse wall cladding more Montecito style?

I'd never even heard of The Gentleman before this! Mind you, my tv watching is the Sky at Night and anything by David Attenborough!

To true! , I only remembered it because an article came up that Christian bale has been busy building an entire village of social housing from his own money for people to live in free! , I wish I could remember where the article was !
