The royal family

If you don't believe the Sussex children are real....

... can you explain it to me? So many comments on media articles etc saying oh it's because the kdis aren't theirs, they're actors, they have no kids, they just rent them for photos.

Archie was born in England, the Royal family met him, she was photographed with a tiny baby.
Do you think it was a doll or someone was paid to hand over their baby for a photo?
Who are these people who rent our their kids for photos? Why don't they sell their exclusive story for millions?
Why has no one around her, or where the kids reportedly educated, done the same?
What happens when the "kids" become adults and can't reasonably be kept out of sight? Will they "kill" them off, come clean or adopt a couple of fake actors to play the role?

I've never heard this nonsense before. Where have you seen it?

Decacaffeinatednow · 24/06/2026 12:18

@saveforthat
There is a poster on MN who has said that they are not real - in the last few days.
Desperatemum1234 - 21st June
I have recently thought that these photos are all fake and in fact there are no children whatsoever, they don’t exist. Maybe they use dolls or something. Everything just looks so fake in every photo.

Ihateboris · 24/06/2026 12:21

What now??

SleepingStandingUp · 24/06/2026 12:25

Read the comments on the online press articles.

"Archie has dark hair now instead of ginger... Oh it's cos he's not real...."

It's been going on since her pregnancy with accusations she wasn't pregnant, that they used a surrogate, that there was never a baby. Peopel trying to get Lili's birth cert details to prove she doesn't exist, when one of the York girls posted a photo of their baby, maybe August? Forensic comparison of photos of him and Lili and supposition it was the same kid

I've heard the theory a donor egg may have been used because it is unusual for BOTH kids to be red haired when the mum has black hair but not being real is a new one!

SleepingStandingUp · 24/06/2026 12:29

A quick Google to show my point

They're not even the source of what I've read, just illustrating it's not one batty woman somewhere.

I think it's best to ignore mad conspiracy theories.
If anyone claims something as wild as this, they're best avoided.

Brunchatstephanies · 24/06/2026 12:35

I grew up in the Diana era. The absolute twaddle that was written about her until immediately after her death when she was canonised immediately and her entire history rewritten. I was in London around her funeral, I have never witnessed a turn around like it from devil to the princess of hearts over night, the crazy towards her died out.

The Harry and Meghan era so far is mirroring Diana for its never ending level of crazy it attracts. The level of vitriol and venom these two attract is so far beyond the pale.

The wisest move this pair made was to back away from this level of utter crazy and move else where.

NerdyBird · 24/06/2026 12:38

There’s a lot of chat like this on Twitter. Some people really think they don’t exist. I don’t believe they are not real - it just wouldn’t be a sustainable ruse. There are other theories like using a fake bump, surrogate or donor egg which are possibly mildly more credible but still unlikely.

ExOptimist · 24/06/2026 12:39

This bonkers theory has been going for years. People saying she used fake bumps, the children were really the children of friends etc, it is all ridiculous.

I used to go on the Harry and Meghan threads on Tattle years ago and the amount of conspiracy theorists on there "justifying" their lunatic beliefs was astonishing.

I actually got banned from that site because I commented that people who believed that the children didn't exist must be really stupid. That's how entrenched those beliefs were and maybe still are.

Neither have I! Although there is no shortage of absolute loons on the internet who believe the earth is flat, the royal family are all lizards, microchips in vaccines and the rest of it.

EarlyRun · 24/06/2026 12:44

There have been quite a few posters on here over the years claiming the children aren’t real, that Meghan was never pregnant, saying she wore a fake bump. These posters must have some mental health issues or something going on.

Recklessismymiddlename · 24/06/2026 12:45

It’s complete and absolute rubbish. Don’t even bother entertaining it.

3peassuit · 24/06/2026 12:46

It’s clearly a bonkers theory. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone on here supporting it.

Dollymylove · 24/06/2026 12:48

The children's faces have never been shown in public. Harry has persistently refused to bring his children to Britain, citing security risks. He fails to add that if he and the family come as guests of Charles, they will be guarded by the Royal Protection squad.
I did read though, that Harry wasnt satisfied with Scotland Yard protection and would rather stay in a hotel. He really does have an inflated sense of how important he actually is, doesn't he 🤣

Ophy83 · 24/06/2026 12:48

Don't give them the headspace.

*and newsflash for any conspiracy theorist - children's hair can change colour as they get older. Both mine were blonde like DH when little and are now dark like me.

Decacaffeinatednow · 24/06/2026 12:51

@Dollymylove
Do you believe the children are fake??

IDrinkTeaAllTheTime · 24/06/2026 12:51

There are quite a few nutters among us, OP, and it’s scary because these people are allowed to vote.

I’ve definitely heard of this conspiracy theory, and there’s a specific Meghan Markle-hating YouTuber (well, there’s a few) who spends her time posting angry, ranty videos about a woman who she’s never met and never likely to meet. She’s so batshit, it’s almost entertaining to watch.

The scary thing is, this woman is a therapist 😳

Yes, no-one has to read a load of text that they think is a heap of crap.

I mean, I don’t waste my time on reading reams of lizard people crap - although it is occasionally amusing to dabble with what people like David Icke or Tom Cruise do actually believe and why.

And there is quite a bit of interesting academic research now into the origins and societal functions of conspiracy theories.

CloudyWithAChanceOfCustard · 24/06/2026 12:55

Ffs 🤦‍♀️

HauntedBungalow · 24/06/2026 12:55

It's actually quite easy to start a conspiracy theory on the internet. Put a question about it online in a forum somewhere, keep Google searching on key terms from it and it runs itself.

MyAutumnCrow · 24/06/2026 12:55

Trouble is, @Brunchatstephanies, that Harry himself has put it out there in recorded interviews that his mother Diana was ‘basically murdered’, and that the same will happen to his wife Meghan.

That kind of rhetoric does come across as unhealthy and unhelpful, and sets a tone for rather extreme claims around him.

Fleur405 · 24/06/2026 12:57

I worked briefly with an American - a professional young woman (mid to late twenties) who was convinced that MM was faking her pregnancy with Archie. I have absolutely no idea why - it was conspiracy theory type stuff. But she seemed to be really offended by MM’s very existence and the fact she had married Prince Harry. I assumed that this was all because she was basically a racist and / or a nut job. I avoided her thereafter.
