A close relative is good friends with someone who worked at the Royal Lodge (a contractor not an employee). Andrew was openly vile to staff and would shout and scream at them for perceived misdemeanours in front of anyone who happened to be there. “I’m the Duke of York and I’ll do what I want” was a particular favourite. I’m delighted that he’s fallen from grace so spectacularly.

I assume he'll retain his place in the LoS despite losing his titles. Removing someone from the LoS would require approval not only by Westminster, but also of the 14 other countries of which Charles is currently Head of State. Not worth the hassle, especially as he's far enough down the LoS as to make him irrelevant.

Absolutely. Andrew is a vile, obnoxious man, but he's been a high profile scapegoat for a lot of wealthier, richer, more powerful, entitled men. Mainly Americans. Let's hear all about them now.

The statement used the word "censure". It seems that the King isn't convinced by his protestations .
