Hope all you witch hunters are happy now, then? Bully for you all.

I'm very happy! Most decent people are pleased that Andrew has lost his titles because he had sex with a sex-trafficked teenager and then lied through his teeth about it.

CrimsonStoat · 30/10/2025 19:50

Ah, fair enough Serenster - though goodness knows what's gone on which meant he could be persuaded

The threat that his daughters would be stripped of their titles when William accedes the throne.

You could very well be right, CrimsonStoat, though I guess there's nothing to stop William doing this in future if they too turn out to be rotters (and their fondness for the middle east fleshpots doesn't look good either)

Middlechild3 · 30/10/2025 20:02

Maybe one for another thread and I don't follow conspiracy theories but has it been categorically proven VG died by suicide at her own hands. This girl/woman had so much fight for so long and then a few months before her book is published she's dead.

Andouillette · 30/10/2025 20:02

Bobiverse · 30/10/2025 19:59

Well, obviously. That’s why Philip’s children are Mountbatten-Windsor. The Queen double barrelled the children’s names using her surname and her husband’s, so that’s the name of the male and unmarried grandchildren too.

Why would Philip or lord Mountbatten be called Mountbatten-Windsor?

I was replying to somebody who implied that Mounbatten was also Mountbatten Windsor.

Handy Andy Windsor.
No job too small or large.
Call for a free quote.

'Handy Andy' might not look too good on his van though...

It would just keep getting corrected to ‘Handsy’. Not ideal. ‘Handsy Andsy at your service…’

DeftWasp · 30/10/2025 19:59

I quite like the idea of him getting a job delivering for Evri.

No thanks, i don't want him turning up on my doorstep.

ITV now saying Sandringham Estate, fingers crossed they’re wrong. Better get on Rightmove…😂

House prices will plummet!

DoYouThinkYouCouldTell · 30/10/2025 20:03

@mumofsixfluffs I really hope you meant his name can be added to the already overstretched waiting lists and he may never get a council property because he's a single person 🤷🏻‍♀️
(Not that he deserves anything other than contempt)

Although I'm struggling to remember if KC ever publicly regretted his very personal relationship with JS??

MN2025 · 30/10/2025 20:03

Charles has little to do with this movement. It’s all William.

Charles will be funding his new home on Sandringham.

KimTheresPeopleThatAreDying · 30/10/2025 20:04

It’s brilliant. Good for Charles.
A close relative is good friends with someone who worked at the Royal Lodge (a contractor not an employee). Andrew was openly vile to staff and would shout and scream at them for perceived misdemeanours in front of anyone who happened to be there. “I’m the Duke of York and I’ll do what I want” was a particular favourite. I’m delighted that he’s fallen from grace so spectacularly.

New6754 · 30/10/2025 19:12

I have no idea how anyone thinks Harry’s behaviour is remotely comparable with Andrew’s. None.

This.

IcedPurple · 30/10/2025 20:04

TakeMeToAnIgloo · 30/10/2025 20:01

so will they actually change the line of succession? And that would take the princesses and their children out of it, despite the fact that they keep their titles? That sounds like a fairly major constitutional change!

I assume he'll retain his place in the LoS despite losing his titles. Removing someone from the LoS would require approval not only by Westminster, but also of the 14 other countries of which Charles is currently Head of State. Not worth the hassle, especially as he's far enough down the LoS as to make him irrelevant.

Nobody will bow, call him Sir or Your Royal Highness. No more attendance at family events, pushing himself and his ghastly wife forward.

and possibly a few eggs heading his way

Supersimkin7 · 30/10/2025 20:01

Don’t throw all the heat at Andrew - what about Epstein’s 450 other ‘friends’?

If TAFKAP gets scapegoated any worse, the hunt will go quiet for the coach loads of other pervs.

Absolutely. Andrew is a vile, obnoxious man, but he's been a high profile scapegoat for a lot of wealthier, richer, more powerful, entitled men. Mainly Americans. Let's hear all about them now.

It's just so tragic, she was a very troubled woman, and that last interview was absolutely heart breaking. Just devastating.
All those vile men.
I hope more names emerge, not just Andrew's.

No, she implied that the current royal family are Mountbatten Windsors. Which they are.

How come you’re Team Andrew? Just curious. I think people are relieved he’s got his just desserts. I wouldn’t call it a witch hunt though 😯

The statement used the word "censure". It seems that the King isn't convinced by his protestations .

ThatCalmFinch · 30/10/2025 20:06

"It is understood that Sarah Ferguson, Andrew's ex-wife, will also move out of Royal Lodge and will make her own living arrangements"

ShenandoahRiver · 30/10/2025 20:07

I'm thinking now of the victims of Uncle Dickie in the Kincora Boys Home in Belfast. They will never ever see justice or see their abusers held to account.

George V used the Titles Deprivation Act 1917 to remove the British princely titles of several of his relatives who had fought for Germany.

The two most prominent royal family members who were "de-princed" by this were Charles Edward, Duke of Albany and Ernest Augustus, Duke of Cumberland and Teviotdale. Both were titled princes as they were grandsons of Queen Victoria, and were stripped of all British titles, including the royal dukedom and the title of Prince.

A lesser known example is His Highness Prince Alastair Arthur of Connaught (At the time, great-grandchildren of a monarch in the male line were “Highness” rather than “Royal Highness”) who was no longer a highness or a prince after the Letters Patent of 1917. He became Alastair Windsor, Earl of MacDuff, a courtesy title as heir to his mother who was a Duchess in her own right.

I wonder where he will end up living.

My sister said she read something about Sandringham.

Charles has little to do with this movement. It’s all William.

Charles will be funding his new home on Sandringham.

What makes you think this? If William was in charge of anything why would he be keeping him close and having them at Sandringham?
