So according to reports PW has visited one of the secret intelligence services this week. I’d like to have been a fly on the wall. I wonder if the subject of Harry came up? If it did he may have something to talk to his bro about. As Harry reads just about everything he can online if he saw this he may have picked up the phone himself and called PW.

Oooh. Somehow, I think if PW were to swallow his ego and make a call it would be the best thing for the two brothers.

Harry needs to apologise and even then it won't be enough.

What for? He isn’t visiting because of any particular intelligence that has been received. He’s been there a few times, including with the Princess of Wales. It’s just a visit

They both need to apologise and be more humble with one another. If they were my sons I’d be having words in both of their ears.

It’s not William who needs to apologise. If Harry was my sibling I’d never speak to them again. Have disagreements by all means, siblings do. But to write a book, tv shows no just no.

Harry as you read all the media religiously there is a slim chance you could visit Mumsnet. Take the advice, be the bigger person and call your brother. You’ve only got one.

This is tenuous at the most. MI6 would have no interest in Harry, unless you are suggesting he has decided to become a terrorist

I am not aware of William writing a scathing book about his family ? Nor being interviewed and participating in a reality show where he criticised his family ?
Why should he phone Harry ? Everyone knows that details will be leaked within 24 hours .
Anyway , I think William has enough to think about at the moment without contacting his toxic brother.

I'm not sure why the visit would be in any way Harry related.

PW and other royals do meet with groups that serve the country.

PW and KC etc. could talk to Harry again if there was a time of forgiveness and apologies.

However, no matter how much was forgiven on either side, you can't put back some things. I don't suppose they would be able to trust H again.

Would other friends and family not remain cautious also?

I have no special secrets and can't imagine anyone would be interested... but would still prefer not to share my ordinary life with the press or even just people outside my family. I'd be unlikely to invite someone in if they might go public afterwards.

Quite. The conversation William had with Harry at Prince Phillip’s funeral was the opening chapter of Spare, complete with digs about William balding, ageing, no longer looking so much like his mother, scowling etc. The text William sent his brother after the Oprah show was reacted to “live” for dramatic effect by Meghan and Harry in their Netflix documentary. These are not the kind of things I’d expect a sibling to forgive really - selling your carefully guarded privacy out for money and a global splash.

How do you know he hasn't tried?
The difference between them is that William won't sell private conversations for money.

Not to forget as being named as the person who raised concerns' about the babies colour through their mouthpiece? Not to forget the continuing disrespect in referring to her as Kate in public statements. F&@k that.

People seem to forget how magnanimous William was by inviting Harry and Meghan to join him and Catherine on the walkabout after the queen died. Not many people would have been as forgiving and kind as William was in that instance, and that kindness was repaid with more insults and private information being disclosed.

Harry has no loyalty to his brother nor to his brothers family, I hope William has learnt his lesson and can see how Harry is eaten up with jealousy and spite and will continue to throw him and Catherine to the wolves if there are a few bucks to be made. William needs to keep as far as possible away from Harry.

I am listening to Spare on audible as I had a credit. Tbh, the only people he is scathing about is the press, who he has a massive issue with. The press, imo have deliberately blown tiny bits of the book up to detract from this. He blames then for chasing his mother to her death, basically saying she wouldn't have been killed, despite Henri Paul being drunk because the tunnel is short and straight if she hasn't been chased. He blames them for him being pulled out of Afghanistan. He blames them for hounding his girlfriends. He really, really hates them, and basically blames them for ruining his life. He may be paranoid and basically wants a life of privilege without scrutiny but thats all of them.
I couldn't see much bad about his family. It's a bit boring imo unless you like knowing what it's like being in the military. It's so boring, I'm thinking of skipping some chapters but don't know where to move onto to get to the juicy stuff!

I think some of you over estimate the need for two brothers to be " friends". William has masses of support in all areas. Negativity is not something that he needs in his life. It is a common thing for families to be no contact with certain members. Some people just do not bring anything to the family table.

He was visiting MI6 because he is the Heir to the throne and needs to learn about how things work, not to catch up on gossip about his brother. With the current state of international politics; Russia, China, Ukraine etc, I'm pretty sure the security services have far more important things to focus on than a minor royal.

What about the way he describes that poor woman at his prep school? I think she was a matron. He's a horrible person.
