I was worried that Catherine might not release a birthday photo of Louis this year what with what her diagnosis and the mothers’ day photo fiasco. But she has released an image on the Prince & Princess of Wales instagram page.

Very brave of Catherine to release a picture, she’s a better woman than me I would have given 2 fingers to the media for any future photos after the way she was treated. Louis looks just like her!

Have they just been posted to instagram rather than being released to the press groups like AP in any official capacity? That might be what they might do going forward. If the press choose to lift them of SM that’s on them and they can’t complain about any photoshop that is used in ostensibly private photos. The press are sore losers when it comes to photographic access, but the public won’t care about the source as long as they are available.

He's so like his grandpa Middleton! I think George is a bit like him too but with his dad's blonde hair. He looks like a very happy little boy.

Yep, those Middleton genes coming through strong. All three of their kids have such wonderful thick hair.

That's my understanding. The Press are such hypocrites anyway. A pic of my Ds was on the front of the BBC website on a particular - religiously significant - day recently. It was taken a year ago (not mentioned by the BBC).

I can understand why someone would say ‘worried’.

I doubt @PrettyFlyforaMaiTai is wringing their hands over a lack of a picture, ready to fling themselves at the door of KP, demanding to see Louis though.

I don’t speak for the OP but I daresay that if a photo hadn’t been issued, the worry would have been the wave of conspiracy theorists chewing their way out of the woodwork to give their reasons why.

Now that I would class as weird.

That and the influx of new posters who seem determined to be arsey for no reason whatsoever.

Totally agree @ArcaneWireless the conspiracy theorists are even commenting online about Prince Louis wearing the same shirt and having the same teeth as in the Mother’s Day photo! Not exactly sure why they think his teeth should be different….!! Just goes to show that you can’t reason with the unreasonable.
