And as such have scuppered the couple's planned representation of the Dior brand, that having been hijacked by Camilla and the kate Middleton actress.

The Express is about as reliable as Scooby when it comes to facts - although that they think that wouldn't actually surprise me. There does seem to be a leitmotif of 'everyone's out to get us' rather than 'we've upset everybody and they want nothing to do with us.'

Roussette · 14/12/2023 19:14

Complete nonsense article written as clickbait

BasiliskStare · 14/12/2023 19:17

& M&H think the RF have nothing better to do than scupper their high fashion deals . Of all that has been written this to me sounds ludicrous . Whichever side you are on. I think M&H need to concentrate on their own things to make the amount of money they need.

rosyglowcondition · 14/12/2023 19:23

It certainly fits their victim narrative. The one they've been peddling the past few years, as well as their absolute disregard for the negative affects of their own behaviours.

It's the Express. Making things up (usually about the weather) is how they fill their pages.

rosyglowcondition · 14/12/2023 19:35

Strange though how it fits their victim narrative so perfectly though. 🤔

Difficult to have any sympathy really, they have done it to themselves.
Whoever has been advising them since they moved to the US needs sacking 😉

BasiliskStare · 14/12/2023 21:30

@MrsDanversGlidesAgain very fair point

Basilisk

WinnieTheW0rm · 14/12/2023 21:41

I wonder if MN is their source?

After all, we've been discussing the Dior "deal" and the angles of both Camilla and the actor from The Crown.

And the rest of the article is an unspecified source descrbing what friends of the Sussexes are saying. That's too long and too vague a chain of sources to put any credence on it at all.

No it fits your narrative

My fave SNOWMAGGEDON article was the one when the actual forecast said something along the lines of "high likelihood of wintry showers which may fall as snow on higher ground" Xmas Grin

😆👍

AutumnCrow · 14/12/2023 22:12

I think you're right, @WinnieTheW0rm - it all seems lifted from a MN thread.

Mornusting · 14/12/2023 23:26

What? Is someone here a reporter?

AndThatWasNY · 14/12/2023 23:27

God do you lot not have any else in your lives? It's so sad to watch the obsession. Move on.
Be more positive. Spend your time doing nicer things

Now that does sound like an MM saying.

How many times have they metaphorically "moved on" is it now?

Absolutely. They've stirred up as much trouble as they can with all their grievances and instead of getting sympathy and apologies they've been told to take a hike.

And yet here you are as well....

Express goes seamlessly from 'OMG we're all going to expire from the HEAT!!' all summer to 'OMG the country's going to be blanketed in snow and we're all going to FREEZE!' all winter from the the day the clocks go back.

SirChenjins · 15/12/2023 08:14

Whether it's true or not, Dior have certainly been waving their semaphore flags.

cheezncrackers · 15/12/2023 08:26

Surely it's more likely that high end brands have decided that they'd rather be associated with - or not burn their bridges with - the RF, rather than this increasingly irrelevant and paranoid pair? I mean, what do they actually do, apart from slag off their relatives and promote themselves? If I was Dior's brand manager I'd FAR rather dress Queen Camilla than a pair of grifters.

Dongdingd · 15/12/2023 08:31

It does make you wonder if in years to come the younger generation will be at uni studying our obsessions and media methods of feeding those obsessions or worse!

Samcro · 15/12/2023 10:19

I love the way people jump on anything about H&M with glee. most of its made up. but doesn't stop people from believing it. but then some people think the crown is a documentary

MissTrip82 · 15/12/2023 10:27

Once again the bizarre situation of people who don’t like these two actively seeking out trashy articles about them. You can’t possibly think this makes you sound sane and normal.

@rosyglowcondition
I don't 🤔 think much of The Daily express newspaper either,
It's a joke of a newspaper just like The Sun and News of the world used to be too,

but i do think there is something in it about this particular news story,
as it seems typical of these Royal couple who have issues about and don't like the trappings of being connected to UK Royality,
but paradoxically ❤️ the doors that can potentially be opened cause of their connections and how they sponge off this and maximise for their ever demanding endless montery wants needs,

they can't understand how their brand, cause of the way they are just like is starting to reek now like a mischievous practical joker,
hiding kippers behind someone's radiators ect...
