Another person saying she's in it for her 15 minutes of fame. If that were true she would have spilled the beans decades ago.

As has been said repeatedly the most likely scenario is the papers knew it was her and she had a choice to tell her side or have them publish any old nonsense with a few pics of her as a teen and some sneaky shots of her doing her weekly tesco shop.

Also so fucking what if she makes some money, she kept his secret for 2 decades and he made money off the story so why shouldn't she? Or is it only OK when Harry sells people's private lives for cash?

Of course he sold sold her private story. It wouldn't have taken much to work out who she was from his details so of course whilst speculation it's more plausible than she suddenly decided to cash in after 20 years.

At what point is one outed, is it when your friends all know, your family, your neighbours, your village or it’s written in the press. If those people closest to me read the details in Harry’s book and worked out it is me then I’d consider that being outed and I wouldn’t really care about the rest of the world knowing.

It wasn't a one night stand. It was a drunken shag in a field that lasted five minutes. That doesn't usually lead to a relationship afterwards. They both went their separate ways.

She is being very gracious especially as it will be a bit embarrassing for her and her family. I can only guess she wanted to take control of the narrative as so many people in that circle knew who she was and it might have come out via social media. He doesn’t come out of it very well but it’s not unusual behaviour for a teenage boy unfortunately.

Oh come on. Harry put enough details in the story that it was not beyond the wit of man or tabloid press to find out who she was. He also quoted the name of the matron at the school that he made his vile comments about. He made personal comments about his brother’s bald patch and so on. He did not in any way respect anyone else’s privacy. Saying he did it to take the wind out of anyone’s sails is a piss poor, clutching at straws excuse

So you think it's more likely that the press have sat on this story for 20 years in the hope that one day Harry decides to publish a tell all book so they can blackmail him to including the story in said book or they will leak it in the media....

If the media knew about it before the book was published they would have tracked her down and told the story at some point in the last 2 decades.

Why on earth would the Press have bothered digging up the girl Harry lost his virginity too - 21 years after the event?

The time to do that was surely decades ago? Around about the time he was partying naked with hookers in Vegas?

Why would they start bothering now? Only reason they did now is because Harry put it in his book.

Honestly. The lengths some people go to, to try to paint him as a victim constantly is mind blowing!

This women said nothing for 2 decades of course she's only now speaking out because his book led to people tracking her down. I for one hope she does go on TV chat shows, strictly or big brother etc shes only now in the spotlight because Harry decided he needed to tell his story needed some more money so why shouldn't she rake it in.

The are probably keeping a very watchful eye out as isn't he meant to be 'writing' another couple of books?

I wouldn't begrudge them cashing in either though to be honest since he doesn't seem to value the privacy of other hs can hardly whinge although I'm sure he will when they start telling their stories.
