She is being very gracious especially as it will be a bit embarrassing for her and her family. I can only guess she wanted to take control of the narrative as so many people in that circle knew who she was and it might have come out via social media. He doesn’t come out of it very well but it’s not unusual behaviour for a teenage boy unfortunately.

Keepyourmummysboys · 05/02/2023 12:06

It’s just more of the same shite from harry, twisting the facts to suit his narrative. He could just have said I shagged my mate when a bit pissed, but no we are subject to some porno older woman narrative

TrashyPanda · 05/02/2023 12:08

Let’s be honest here - attractive young woman, working for the Prince of Wales

Harry - spoiled, dim, not very attractive 16 year old.son of the P of W.

if he was a 16 year old from the local comp, would he have stood a chance with her?

it’s all about who he was, as in a member if the Royal Family, not who he was as a person.

and there is more than a hint of droit de siegneur about his behaviour.

derxa · 05/02/2023 12:10

It is not like he went on to marry a princess. The difference between Sasha and his wife is that one believed in herself and massively dreamed her way up and the other settled to be seen as a notch on his bedpost. Bleugh!
Sasha's life sounds great to me. She's my kind of woman.

They were both drunk. It was an unplanned sexual encounter between two teenagers who liked each other.
Harry would have gone back to school. They both had their own lives far apart. She, I think, was slightly embarrassed and wanted to move on from it. They both moved on,
She comes accross as solid and nice. She has common sense and seems happy and I hope she was paid for telling her side of the story.

TangledWebOfDeception · 05/02/2023 12:12

Plenty of teenage women have awkward fumbles with quite dim teenage boys whilst under the influence. Many adult women do FGS!

Not at all saying it being Harry wasn't a factor. Of course it was. But I still don't think she did anything wrong or subservient or was automatically a victim in the situation.

TangledWebOfDeception · 05/02/2023 12:13

*Meant many adult women sleep with unsuitable MEN not with teenage boys, I hasten to add!

Boulshired · 05/02/2023 12:21

The problem of using a ghost writer, Harry talks about older girl, quick shag, field and her liking horses and it turns into a script of a Jilly Cooper novel with people casting Liz Hurley in the role, some even questioning was he a victim of grooming. Same with the Elizabeth Arden cream story got stretched. But Harry had the time to bring it back, he even read it aloud. He knew that some parts were lost in translation but went for sensational rather than factual.

Streamside · 05/02/2023 12:25

If the matron in his old school is still alive it would be great if she would do the same. Tell us her recollections of little Harry Wales. Good on this girl for coming forward, for Harry it was a quick fumble before his security guards caught up.

TangledWebOfDeception · 05/02/2023 12:25

Nah he will have told that story broadly like that. It will not have been embellished in any way (unless that was specifically in the contract). The ghost writer isn't allowed to make things up or change them - they write in the author's voice.

Bonbon21 · 05/02/2023 12:26

Drunken teenage fumblings round the back of the pub... who cares...
He is still an immature petty wee twat...And she should have kept her silence... and dignity..

ArcaneWireless · 05/02/2023 12:26

no doubt she will be on big brother or Im a celeb.

Only one of the fumblers is grifty enough to do that.

And it isn’t her.

MumOf2workOptions · 05/02/2023 12:26

HermioneWeasley · 04/02/2023 22:34

I hope she’s made a fortune telling this story

I do aswell

Harry is a revolting individual

TangledWebOfDeception · 05/02/2023 12:30

@Bonbon21 She couldn't. It was inevitable after what Harry did that she would be tracked down at some point. She's done the smartest thing in having her say instead.

Jellybean23 · 05/02/2023 12:33

It looked better in the book saying 'older woman'. Hyperbole for effect. How many other chapters were like that?

Tinner01 · 05/02/2023 12:35

ReneBumsWombats · 04/02/2023 23:36

And younger than his wife...

Yes, she’s positively decrepit compared!

ClippClopp · 05/02/2023 12:37

I Hope she got paid a hefty sum for this! He really has trampled on other people's privacy in this book and this feels like karma. Love how she protected his privacy by keeping quiet about it all these years, and even now is very down to earth and undramatic about it all.

He was so dramatic describing her as 'older woman'... bordering on disingenuous - which I guess is an improvement from some of the other tales. Describing her as a drunk teenager, like himself, wasn't quite so interesting I guess. He really is the gift that keeps giving...wonder what's next...

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 05/02/2023 12:45

I still find her passivity and resignation quite odd. Give the prince what he wants without any expectations of it developing into something meaningful.

She was 19 he was 17 or so, what did you want her to try and develop it into? A ten minute shag instead of the five they had? Or should she have started picking baby names

Tulipomania · 05/02/2023 13:13

It was a one-night stand and he ghosted her afterwards. Completely normal behaviour for any Etonian teenager at that time.

A totally meaningless statement

Haz must be delighted

Yes and his awful wife who is "older" than the "older woman"!

Agree. It's all so, so crass.

ThreeKneeRepeater · 05/02/2023 13:38

And nobody asked her if she was okay…😢

I thought the same, Streamside

Looking on the bright side though, if any of this nonsense is real, at least it wasn't Camilla Grin

BadNomad · 05/02/2023 13:48

You all are too funny. You don't even see it. Just imagine if it was Meghan who had written "On my 19th birthday, we all got tipsy at my party. I went in a field with a 16-year-old boy to have sex with him. Rode him for all of 5 mins, then slapped him on the ass. Had to go back the next day in the daylight to find my belt." You'd all be calling her every shade of slut imaginable.
