It’s her birthday next week (13). What should I do for it? Usually get her something.

Don't know, don't know what she likes! New scratch box? My old cat used to get really excited for those and would help me take off the packaging.

She’s bored with her laser pointer and a cat tunnel I bought recently she turned her nose up at.

Yeah, the joy of cats eh?! Luckily I have a friend who rescues cats so she gets all of the unwanted unloved things I buy her so nothing goes to waste. Scratch boxes are always liked thankfully, apart from round ones, go figure, and cat trees, taller the better!

Mine loves valerian, I buy loose valerian tea from amazon. If an outdoor cat I highly recommend if not given before, it's like catnip x 10. I say outdoor because it smells so bad....!

She’s got scratch stuff. Hasn’t got valerian. My friend has these soft small balls for her cats.

Catnip stuffed toy for mine, they also like the banana one. Do NOT buy the one shaped like a brown cigar, you will be forever walking into the room and thinking one of them has shat on the floor.

Mine don't either but it didn't stop me momentarily thinking they had every time they left the cigar toy on the floor

Sardines is my go-to when my cat is poorly, there's a shortage of them now in tomato sauce. And typical cat fashion she will not entertain anything else...!

I had never heard of silver vine! That’s on my list. Yeah the cat goes nuts for my iPad as that’s where she gets cat games.

If I can source sardines I’ll get some. Or whiebait or cod. She loves cheese too.

Aww, happy birthday to your kitty. My cat has her birthday this weekend and will be 17. She doesn't care about toys any more so will probably open her a nice tin of salmon or something and just make extra fuss of her.
