Auditioning for Series One of The Prison Cat, forming a band, and continuing to plot against their enemies by means of their Ouija Boards - will they even have time to sleep now?

Forgot to add that's everyone except Broon's XH, hope he gets what he deserves which is loneliness. (Yes, I can be a vindictive cow even in the season of goodwill)

One if my little murdering thugs has just placed a dead dunnock on the doormat. Not quite the bird I'm planning for dinner today - might have been useful for one of those '10 bird specials' I suppose?

How’s everyone’s day been?

Just popping in to wish all the excellent cats and their people a very merry Christmas from me and Louie-Boo. A slight disgrace period where he was banished into the garden after trying to get the turkey today (and sat at the kitchen window like a Victorian orphan while we ate), then further calamity when I found him licking the juices out of the roasting tin later, but overall a successful day here.

Dad & I had a good time at his favourite restaurant.

I got a panicked text around 8pm from my neighbour to say she’d lost my keys & thought I was going to have to dash back to London, but then she found them so that was ok.

Got a cat jigsaw as a present, one of those where the bits are all sorts of different shapes...

It's been quiet here, the cats are full of turkey. Lex and Toad have been unusually affectionate, clearly turkey is the way to their hearts!

Belated Merry Christmas to everyone and their wonderful cats!

Eko has become um.. rather rotund - is that the nicest way of saying it?
So Boone is getting a microchip feeder as a belated Christmas pressie - so that he can eat to his heart's content whenever he wants, and the open bowls will be for Eko so when it's gone - it's gone.

But otherwise a good day for them I think. Boone got his beloved catnip toy from FreakMeowt - special shoutout to her as she made him a toy that she no longer sells just because he is an old man and he loves her toys ❤
And Eko got a Gus and Bella box which I first read about on here - I think Buffy got one once (I don't know her current name but I think you all know who I mean anyway ❤) Special shoutout to her too as those boxes are an absolute winner for very very special occasions. This time there were 2 balls in there which at completely random moments will be rediscovered and there will be leaping and throwing which is so cute.

Eko is also getting some plain cooked seabass later as we had it recently and he went all crazy for it. But it had too much salt on so he needed his own special one. I doubt Boone will even deign to sniff it. He has always been very set on chicken Purina dry biscuits and fish Felix. And literally only ever those for 14.5 years! Terribly easy and cheap. I feel bad every now and then when I see what everyone else gets their cats but Boone simply won't have it 😂

Went out for a Boxing day constitutional down our road this morning. Spotted this and I'm now wondering if Lenny is a six two dinner Sid 🙀.
(Not actually convinced that this was Lenny but not seen any other DSH black cats on the road before)

A belated Merry Christmas to all the excellent cats and their humans from me Boris and Matilda. They enjoyed their Molly's mice I gave them for Christmas.

Some of them got the idea faster than others, @LostCats2 - you can change the difficulty level by making the holes smaller or larger.

Ahaha @EmpressaurusKitty my precious Eko will probably settle on the easiest setting. He is the kindest and happiest soul but not so much going on upstairs bless him. But he is so lovely in so many ways. Our favourite is if you open a door for him he always meows in thank you. Every time. Love him

Both of mine have shocked us today, in a good way. Not only did Annie and Nephew no.4 come round, but they brought Nephew no.2 with them who's been staying for a few days. We all expected Girlcat to look at them suspiciously, and Tobias to either run upstairs or hide behind the sofa due to Tall Strange Man coming in the house.

Instead they were both very sociable! OK the fact we were dipping things like chicken into a fondue may well have helped, along with more of the ham I cooked Christmas Eve, but all the same they were letting themselves be TOUCHED! Even Girlcat accepted some stroking from Nephew no.4, then Annie realised that when she thought Tobias had just moved away for a moment then back, he had been replaced by Girlcat first time she's managed to give Girlcat decent strokes ever.

All 4 humans & 2 cats here were stuffed to the gills. Humans have gone home now to spoil their cats a bit more & mine are in a food coma again.

Forgot to add did you know you can get a bar of Mint Aero that is 11 inches by 5.5 inches??? Annie knows me well...

I am away for Christmas, and have just had a message from my live-in catsitter, who was in my kitchen with Joancat when a baby mouse suddenly appeared... suffice it to say that the baby mouse is no more. I feel simultaneously proud and embarrassed.
