I’ve just watched Kitty run halfway up a doorframe, slide down & stare wild-eyed at me for a moment before dashing off.

Kettle's been back to the vet and it's all healed nicely so he's been given the all clear. Certainly he hasn't had any appetite problems this week😆

Unfortunately I didn't do a good job working out how much wet food would be equivalent to his biscuits and he's put on a bit of weight again but I'm sure that'll soon be remedied now he can go back on his normal rations.

I've seen various fruits and vegetables with a similar kind of grey fur, but it's more of a sad indictment on our fridge organisation skills than anything else.

Herbie hasn't gone AWOL again, I'm pleased to say. He has a collar with a little note saying 'don't feed me'!
I ended up joining Facebook just so I could post on the local page about him going missing all day.
So I have gone down the rabbit hole a bit... I have loads of videos of cats with babies on my feed ! (AI generated I assume!)

Cat Three climbed up onto the hose reel and sat there like that, as if he had reached the pinnacle of his existence. He doesn’t like boxes. He likes his exits to be clear.

Finlay is coming home much earlier since it turned a bit colder here - although tonight he was on high alert in case he was missing out!

Toad seems to like his boxes as small as possible. If there isn't a tiny box that he barely fits in, then he insists on sitting in a box that one of the others is already using.

I decided to buy some of the vanilla and the strawberry Lick-e-puds today for the cats. Also, some of Home Bargains own brand version (79p for 7). All of them were a hit, I think the strawberry ones strangely were the favourite. Toad especially liked them and kept trying to bite the tube as I wasn't dispensing it quickly enough.

The tribe give all of them their paw of approval and would like to recommend them to the other cats on here.

I've just realised Herbie has a health check in half term and I'm slightly worried he may have put on weight! (What with the dog food supplements and possibly an over generous neighbour).

There are fireworks over the back somewhere. Kitty was a bit wide eyed at first but then decided she wasn’t bothered. Balcony door’s staying firmly closed tonight though.

He's not sure about vanilla and strawberry treats but he does love yoghurt of any flavour (not that he's ever been given any, the terrible thief!) so maybe he would like them. Only boring old salmon and chicken flavours available in our local pet shop, though.

My boys, having one of those pointless cat disputes, where they spend ages glaring at one another, and hissing, and flicking their tails, in order to demonstrate supposed dominance.

I fried some salmon for my dinner.

It was lovely but there was a little too much.

Gizmo was delighted to help me finish it.

Well Linney occupies the high ground, and if Gizmo can't jump up to get him... sounds like check and mate.

At least he had the salmon as consolation. Kettle had a little roast lamb and was likewise delighted to help.

Vanilla Lick e Lix have not gone down well with Miss B. The crunchy chicken lollipops however …🐈‍⬛

The first time I tried giving the crunchy chicken lollipops, they were sniffed at and rejected by everyone except Frankie. The second time, much to Frankie's chagrin, they were wolfed down by everyone.
