Some people are cat whisperers, whether they want to be or not, and I guess he has that rare eau de chat parfum which so many of us wish we had. I'm not jealous, not at all *sobs

I wish I had it. Everyone's cats avoid me. If I go to a cat cafe I get ignored .

Brush some captnip on before you go?

Dropped Penelope at a cattery one night used before. The building doesn't look very robust and it's not heated. But they have heat pads. The owners daughter is lovely and they seem busy with good reviews. She was looking very reproachful when I left her. 😬

One I've not used before.

I went to Lady Dinah's in London and not a single cat came near me. I have a picture of me with the cat wheel but no cat. I'm sure Harry only tolerated me because I fed him!

I would suggest we meet up at a cat cafe but it sounds as though it'd be a waste of money!

The house is so quiet without Penelope. I hope she's settled in ok in the cattery. Counting down the days till I pick her up. And I've not even gone away yet!

Is she like a little gollum pitter pattering around the place?

Yes and tickling my face with her extra long whiskers, then sneezing on me. Apparently she's a bit nervous but eating well. I emailed to check she'd settled. Her usual cattery also commented on her good appetite 🤣

Penelope is very happy to be home. I don't think I'll take her there again. It wasn't particularly secure. Penelope was not looking happy when I picked her up. But the other cats did all seem quite content. It was freezing though. My mum is very keen for me to bring her with me next time I go and stay. She could eay be kept separate from mithril and have loads of space. So I might try it.

At least she is home safely, I’d definitely try to take her next time .

It's worth a try. I'll barely see my
Mum. She'll spend all her time with Penelope instead of with me. She adores her.

Penelope is definitely turning into to Cheddar. I can't go into the bathroom without supervision. I thought she was actually going to get in the shower with me!

I also provide pillows and cushions, but no, she wants the remote control.

She wants to choose what’s on , bless her she is so much happier as an only cat .

Impressive duck collection Toddler! Does Penelope try knocking them off the windowsill?

@Pudmyboy she's not tried it yet! I've just found Pads owner in face book. Her pics made me cry. I really miss him. I

But yes. Pen is much happier as an only. I think her eye surgery has also made a huge difference. The fur is growing back and she's looking better. She still looks a bit cross eyed though.

I've just been having a lovely chat with Pad's new owner. He loves his brother, they chase each other round the house and then retires to suck his blanket. His bother is absolutely adorable. It's cuteness overload!

I also had Pens rescue asking a favour. Was a bit worried she was going to offer me an another cat. But turns out she just wants advice. Phew!
