New thread for the inmates of Toddler Towers. Strange to think, it's about two completely different cats, from the original
Thread. But Magic, Maia and Cheddar will never be forgotten.

I’m pretty sure it’s worth every exorbitant penny to you. 😄💸
What a gorgeous girl she is.

Toddlerteaplease · 13/12/2024 04:08

She's currently sulking in the Primark bag, as I dared to clean her ears. (Which are filthy.)

Madam has stopped sulking. And is sitting on my chest. She has ignored her antibiotics mixed with lik e lix. I thought that was always supposed to work?!!

Post antibiotics sulk!

It was easier to get antibiotics down Pen, than my 7 year old patient who's on the same one!

She certainly loves the primark bag .

Toddlerteaplease · 14/12/2024 11:09

She really does. She's slept in it, the last two nights. Instead of with me.

I've been sent a video of Dottie playing with her daughter and the rescue have posted a pic of Paddington on his new mums knee. He's now called Bear, which really suits him.
No wonder Pen doesn't like her antibiotics, it's banana flavoured. 🙄

It’s lovely that Dotty and Pads( bear) are doing well in new homes .

Ellmau · 14/12/2024 21:57

Yes, two lovely updates.

That's a lovely update, I am so glad for you that they are keeping in touch with you and sharing their new lives, and glad for us that you share that news! Especially pleased that Dottie has a playmate that suits her temperament, hope they are tiring each other out!😻😻😻

Puppylucky · 15/12/2024 17:50

Did I miss something - is Dotty rehomed with her actual daughter or is that just a turn of phrase?

Toddlerteaplease · 15/12/2024 18:33

@Puppylucky it's her actual
Daughter. She came with a large group.

I enquired about her when I was thinking about Dotty. But she already had a match. I met her, when I collected Dotty. She was so like Cheddar. Wouldn't let me put her down, and no concept of personal
Space!

Madam has almost given me heart failure. Got home from work and her left eye was completely closed and I couldn't open it. Managed to open it and there is no sigh of an ulcer. Phew!! Think she had hit her antibiotics all over her face and it's dried. 🙄

OP posts:
Floralnomad · 15/12/2024 21:17

She is certainly keeping you on your toes .

Toddlerteaplease · 18/12/2024 09:30

Penelope's expression, if the vet tries to find anything else wrong with her this afternoon.

She's also not impressed that the Primark bag has gone. I knew my friend would have absolutely no issues with his new clothes being covered in her hair. He adores cats. I won't tell her that the laundry assistant asked me to remove all the hair as she's allergic to cats. 🤣

OP posts:
Cailleach1 · 18/12/2024 16:26

I can’t believe you removed the Primark Bag! Now you have to replace it with another one. In future, you’ll have to hand things over, and insist on keeping the paper bags.

She appears to be more comfortable in herself, doesn’t she? I’ll say that carefully (certainly not a statement) as I don’t want to jinx it.

Toddlerteaplease · 18/12/2024 16:55

I know, I'm so mean! She's hysterical even to the vet for a recheck of her breathing. They were very happy. She is definitely more comfortable and her eyes are wet. Hopefully we can last more than 7 weeks without a problem!

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 18/12/2024 18:21

OMG! She's behaving like a proper cat! She's sitting by the door wanting to go out. Then sitting for ages not moving when I open the door. She's unimpressed with the rain, and it's my fault apparently!

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 21/12/2024 20:13

My friend is visiting, she's only met him
A couple of times. But she was rubbing round his legs. She's now climbing on him and meowing loudly at him. I'm amazed!

OP posts:
Floralnomad · 21/12/2024 20:15

She’s probably telling him to leave so she gets you to herself .

Toddlerteaplease · 21/12/2024 20:55

She was sitting on him. I've got a picture of cheddar doing g the same thing. Wonder where she learned that from...

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 22/12/2024 08:54

I am amazed at how confident with him, she's been.
