New thread for the inmates of Toddler Towers. Strange to think, it's about two completely different cats, from the original
Thread. But Magic, Maia and Cheddar will never be forgotten.

She's fine. Just got her home. Happy now I've taken the cone off!

She only stayed at the vet because it was late and 30
Miles away.

The rescue have finally got back in touch and she's going tomorrow. 😰😰😰😰

Unfortunately to a cage. I think I am going to transfer her to their basket in my car and drop her off the way. Probably best that way. I couldn't put her back in there. I think they are already looking at matches for her. So hopefully won't be long.

I know. At least it's made me sure it's the right thing to do. She's such a darling. And has absolutely blossomed with me. The rescue I got Pen from are going to keep their eye out for another one from the same place as pen. But absolutely not!!! Not going this again. And from what she said, I suspect Pen may always have been bullied, as she said that Pen was in a cage and not with the other girls in a conservatory. And the breeder didn't know if she had any particular friends.

Yes, that's now sounding as though they were being rather disingenuous.

Poor little Pen. At least from now on she will be happy.

The first part, with them saying she was caged and not saying it was because the others bullied her; and the second part, she'll be happy as an only cat from now on.

I don't think she knew the reason she was caged. It's just a guess. I cant imagine it was because Penelope doesn't like cats. So it must have been because she was bullied. Cheddar used to chase her but that was more playful/ zoomies. And they were good friends. Paddington was never aggressive, he was desperate to be her friend, and she was scared of him, as he was a space invader. Not sure with Dotty, again I've never seen any aggression from her. And they got off to a really good start.

I'm not trying again. It's not fair. And Pen needs to rule me with an iron paw. And she will. She's quite bossy!!

Had some lovely snuggles with Dotty overnight. She usually just curls up at the end of the bed and sleeps. She's such a lovely girl. Her claws are like needles, even though she only had them cut last week! Good luck lovely girl. I'm so sorry.

Oh Toddler it wasn't for want of trying, and skilled introduction and supervision, but it must be heartbreaking as Dottie is such a cutie and really blossomed under your care. At least now the rescue can say how friendly and playful she is once she gets settled in. She is so lovely I hope she gets her forever home soon. Now Lady Penelope and you can have a lovely life of snuggles and cuddles with a relaxed cat and a non-stressed human 😻😍

I adopted a cat with knots and in desperate need of a good groom. I took back a sleek shiny knot free cat. Who has absolutely blossomed.

It might help if you think about your experiences with Pads and Dotty as fostering them.

I agree with this. Dotty has blossomed with you and I'm sure she'll get a good home soon. The rescue now know her true personality and will be able to match her to the right home

@StarsHollowGazette what negative things? She's gone back a different cat. She's lived in a house and been loved..

I think If Penelope was a playful cat, we'd have been ok. As I think they both just wanted to play. She's so little. I think they thought she was a kitten.

How are you doing, @Toddlerteaplease ? Has Dotty gone now? I hope you and Penelope are OK.

She went yesterday. I'm gutted. The rescue commenced on what great condition she's in. I have just been loudly told off for not providing food quick enough. So I think Pen is on the mend!

Ah I'm so sorry. But clearly you've made a massive difference to Dotty in even a short time. And the fact that Pen is ordering you around already shows you made the right decision.
