Dotty has discovered Paddington's plastic springs and other toys. She's having the time of her life with them. Pen is sitting on her cushion looking unimpressed 😂 I don't think I've ever seen her play with a toy.

She's above such things.

Lovely to know Dotty can play though.

So I'm sitting on the sofa with Penelope sticking her claws in my right thigh and Dotty doing the same in my left. Thanks ladies. Stereo purring

Oh this melted my heart! The thought of the poor little love not having played before because she was penned up: and now she has discovered her inner kitten! 😻
(And the toys get used as Queen Penelope is above such things, as is her regal right🐱🫅)

Sounds adorable. Mine is currently under my legs whilst I’m laid in bed. She likes it when I have my legs up like A, and then she can lay under them and the duvet. She goes under there when she’s frightened too

Managed to get a good pic! Sorry had had her first wander round the garden. Possibly her first time ever outside. But building noise spooked her a bit.

That's exactly it! Dotty looks so sweet (as does Penelope).

Off to the vet again with Penelope, think her eye ulcer had flared up again. Hopefully the swabs for the tests the vet wants to do have arrived. I think we need to look at referral now. This can't go on.

It's worse than it was before, which is what happened last time. Still waiting for the swabs to arrive. So we can test for herpes etc. The vet is referring her to an ophthalmologist. She's got some gabapebtin for pain as she's very sad this morning.

Oh, the poor girl.

I did have to laugh when the vet described her as sensible, as in not stupid enough to injure herself. 🤣

Sorry to hear about Penelope's eye, I d hope you can get to the bottom of what's causing it as it must be so horrible for her. Welcome to little Dotty who seems very sweet and its heartwarming hearing how she's taken to a proper home and playing with toys.

Feeling sorry for myself.

Came home to find her sitting in her litter tray. She only does that if she's really sad. Shes still squinting, so think she's quite uncomfortable. She's had another dose of gabapentin and more drops. She's cheered up a bit and is holding my arm and purring. Poor thing. Waiting to hear from the referral centre.

Oh, poor girl. I really hope it comes good.
