Paws crossed for Snorg.

Taking her to the vet tomorrow, to see what they say about her weight loss. Will get her bloods done. As she looks absolutely shocking. Although well in herself and her eye is bright.
Bloods were ok in February. Best case scenario is that it's just old age. She's 13. But I'm fully prepared for it to be something sinister.
Photos taken by the cattery they are at. Currently, as I've been on holiday. She does usually look awful in their photos though!)

Paws crossed for her and you. She does look a bit bedraggled. I hope whatever is causing it is treatable.

My fingers and toes are crossed (no paws). Poor Snorg! Hope she is soon back to her fluffy self.

Allergictoironing · 01/08/2023 06:41

Fingers crossed and healing vibes heading Snorg's way.

Whatever the results, never forget we are here...

FrivolousTreeDuck · 01/08/2023 06:42

Crossing everything.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 01/08/2023 07:25

Paws crossed here. The life that cat had she deserved more.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/08/2023 11:24

Picked them up from
The cattery and as usual
They were not happy to see me. Turns out that the catttery have been giving her two soups a day to fatten her up. I have t told her that I don't have any at home!

Vet doesn't seem to worried. Having bloods and thyroid checked. Can do a ultrasound scan of her tummy if they are normal.

Well that's you down the supermarket later isn't it? no time to wait for the online shop to come.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/08/2023 12:26

Yep. And I think we've run out of webox wet food as well. 🤣

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 01/08/2023 13:58

Out of wet food too? No wonder they like the cattery 😹

Toddlerteaplease · 01/08/2023 15:13

I have stocked up
On lik e lix and meaty sticks. And soup.

Creatinine high side of normal but urea is high. Vet thinks it’s more to do with her weight loss rather than a kidney cause. So she’s having an ultrasound scan of her tummy. To see if anything going on. She’s already over the insurance excess so might as well!

Toddlerteaplease · 01/08/2023 17:16

Good news that the blood results are ok. You must tell Snorg that although the cattery might be better in terms of lik-e-lix and soup supplies, she should be glad to have a cat slave who is a health professional who can actually understand her blood results!

My friends have stopped referring to the vet after their cat sneaked out and missed his annual check up. They now refer to his personal physician in case he catches onto references to the vet!
