Taking her to the vet tomorrow, to see what they say about her weight loss. Will get her bloods done. As she looks absolutely shocking. Although well in herself and her eye is bright.
Bloods were ok in February. Best case scenario is that it's just old age. She's 13. But I'm fully prepared for it to be something sinister.
Photos taken by the cattery they are at. Currently, as I've been on holiday. She does usually look awful in their photos though!)

My girl did that and it a uti. I’ll be thinking of you.

catlovingdoctor · 05/08/2023 10:19

You're both in my thoughts 🙏

RuthTopp · 05/08/2023 10:24

Thinking of you both . I've been following your threads and are quite attached to your pair of ' smushed up ' faced little furballs.

It may be the steroids. But I just feel that we are only delaying the inevitable. I got some wet food out. (Which usually is an instant reaction from her) but had to go and find her to give it her.

She's enjoying a fuss but is very subdued.

Also got a parking ticket and had to have my favourite ring cut off. Today is not a good day!

Vet doesn't seem to worried. Having bloods and thyroid checked. Can do a ultrasound scan of her tummy if they are normal.

Thyroid was my first thought. Personal experience.

Toddlerteaplease · 05/08/2023 13:47

Thyroid has been ruled out. It's her intestines.

Waiting to see the vet. She's got a cannula in. The vet said she squeaked when she felt her tummy.

I do hope Snorg is alright Toddlertea

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 05/08/2023 15:41

I know we've all got to go at some point but she had such a rough start to life and then survived so much that you really hope she gets longer to shred your sofa and eat cat soup.

Doyouthinktheyknow · 05/08/2023 15:44

Poor snorgs, hoping she can be made comfortable and back home with you for cuddles soon.

Florissante · 05/08/2023 16:06

What's the news, @Toddlerteaplease ?

Florissante · 05/08/2023 16:20

Sorry, @Toddlerteaplease. Just saw your other post. My sympathies to you.
