He’s kippy but very happy and eating like a little horse. Off to bed now.

Very pleased that Cap'n appears to be back on form.
We are decorating at present. Our senior cats are as opportunist as ever.

I find that paint is much improved in texture and appearance with a generous addition of cat hair. Particularly if your cat is black and your paint is off white...

We have managed to mostly keep them outside the living room during painting - they've been very grumpy about it...

Haven’t posted but been enjoying all the lovely pictures and updates of Cap’n recovering.

sitting with my absolute beloved cat having cuddles. Eko is very very loved but currently a smidge less due to his absolute to flush and despatch every small animal in a km radius. We’re now down to 1 squirrel which had a very worried drive down to the wildlife centre but has recovered without help and back to bouncing his tail at Eko. Unwise as that’s what caused his issues last time…

Capn ate half a packet of Dreamies last night. Mewed for more.

I had to sleep upside down on the bed so he could rest comfortably. He purrs and purrs.

No sacrifice is too great for our furry overlords, Lana...indeed you should be grateful to have been allowed on the bed at all. 😁

Vixen sends gummy love to Cap'n. She has slowly knocked hers out by sleeping on the balustrade and then falling off. She sleeps hard!! It doesn't stop her biting gumming her brother's ears when he's annoying her though.

Raven feels the pain of the other "fluffy but clearly not overweight" cats. Her slim sister fits perfectly in this box, so Raven had to sit in it as well. I did try telling her that she perhaps is too big boned, but as we all know cats say "I fits, I sits"

Capn’s just refused to go for his vet checkup. Bit me, fled and peed under the bed.

We’re chilling. Had another breakfast to soothe nerves. Trying again tomorrow.

Basket still out, bwa ha ha. I’ll try for a phone call instead tho.

@Supersimkin2 Dusty did a runner before her vets appointment today too! I called to cancel and then she strolled in so we made it by a whisker.

Abscess on back all mended. Told she is a touch overweight and should be smaller going by the size of her head.

Vets may not be the best subject round here. Boycat had his MoT last Tuesday, and today he's got a big lump come up around where he had his jab done. Thought I noticed a very small bump there this morning, but it's got a lot bigger during the day.

Doesn't seem to be painful at all, but think I'll have to at least call the vet for advice in the morning
