TC has Doris as a new pupil at his College of Liberal Arts, famous English school run along internationally renowned ‘self-expression’ lines.

Typical Morning curriculum: breakfast; meditation; minor wounds; elevenses; auto maintenance; break for lunch.

No fighting in playground. Bodily release through the medium of dance/punch up, however, acceptable.

Instead of counting angels on pinheads they count scratches on arms.

I've been coughing for about a week, done a couple of LFT tests, both negative. So assumed I just had a cough. Yesterday morning woke up in rhe wee small hours and found I had a huge ash (looking like I was out in the sun too long) all over my torso, front and back.
Did another LFT test last night and it turned positive immediately.
Not looking for sympathy (I'm feeling fine apart from being a bit itchy), just wanted to moan!
The real issue is that DS2 is due to have minor surgery next week, and if he gets covid it will be cancelled . Also hoping I've not given it to our friend with the kittens.
Bugger bugger bugger.

That seems to be not uncommon with the latest variant of Covid. Of the 2 other members in my team, both have had general coughs etc, then tested +ive after a few days. One of them literally only tested +ive for 1 day (took 2 tests that day, just in case).

Luckily for me, we rarely get together as we're out & about at different towns and events most of the time.

Grumpy that is rubbish for you - get better soon! Typical timing, life on a stick. Hope you not feeling too rough. Make most of Voice of Suffering to claim telly privileges/sugary foods/tea.

Not quite how things are playing out!
I'm working (from home) today as usual.
I've been evicted from the bedroom to avoid the risk of Mrs Grumpy getting it (she tested negative this morning)
I'm eagerly anticipating Mrs Grumpy bringing me a hand bell to carry in the house and ring while shouting 'unclean' whenever I move around.
Oh, and DS2 is avoiding coming within 20 feet of me.
