If you were a cat where would you hide?

Our cat is an indoor one. This morning he didnt come for breakfast and the whole day we haven't seen him.
He has a heart condition and needs meds twice a day. We're searching the house but any tips or hints?

Ours managed to go behind dishwasher and through a tiny hole to reach under the kitchen cupboards. I turned the house upside down before I thought of removing the panels under the kitchen cupboards and looking there. I hope you find your cat very soon.

What a relief he's been found!

Mine discovered they could get in through a gap in the sofa covers, so were actually inside the sofa. Didn't dare use the recliner if I couldn't see both cats.

My cats have hid in some really random places over the years, the best being up the chimney (not so funny at the time but hilarious now) and under an enclosed bath. I'm still amazed they got in there. Snakey little buggers! One of them nearly took a trip to the tip after crawling inside a divan base. The things they put us trough eh?

He's been found! He had got out and was crying for food at a neighbour's house.
