She's had her bedtime biscuits. She's had a play in her cat tunnel. Boy cat has gone to sleep. She's been sitting staring at me for the last half hour while I've been trying to watch TV.
Do you think she's trying to mind beam something into my brain? Or does she just want to sit in my warm spot when I get up?

(Not a lap cat. Looks cute, will swipe you given half a chance. Only loves 17yr old DS)

I love my cat to pieces but honestly, she's been a right bitch this week so far lol! No exaggeration, just glares at me! Probably thinking "how dare you get pregnant and disrupt my life" lol!!

She will pretend to sleep, glare at me and if I nudge DH, she either looks all cute or close her eyes. She's honestly hating me now it's funny but at the same time, quite annoying lol!

Probably wondering why you haven't made yourself a bed in the airing cupboard yet, as she knows exactly when that oversized, bald kitten is on its way out, even if you don't.

One of mine tells me with silent disapproval that it's time for bed and I'm annoying him by remaining downstairs. The other just bores holes in the side of my head until I fuss her - she'll never make the first move, but she will come up and give it all the big lasers until I move my hand.

Proper wee madam! She's even stopped sleeping at my head at nights! She's in a right huff with me and I'm the one who's up first so feeds her etc! I rub her belly and she swipes me away! But let's DH do it and licks his hand etc!

I have heard that cats who stare at their owners slaves do so because they love them. Or want to kill them.

You’re doing something wrong. It’s up to you to work out what it is. She will give no hints. You need to learn.

that's what cats do...she is finding you mildly entertaining so decided to watch you for a bit and she is also enjoying your discomfort.

I'm not a cat person but have to say I think she's funny and lovely. It would be ace to know what she's thinking if indeed she was capable of thought!

Ours would sit with a similar expression for many reasons. Lately it's because she wants fresh water in her water bowl (twice daily isn't fresh enough!) or if she's requesting we poop and scoop the litter tray; she likes it emptied within the hour ideally. Got to keep up high standards or indeed, the death stare will come our way!

I should add, I will give you a hint as I get this too... she wants you to move so she can sit there. My cat stares at me until I do the right thing and give her the spot I warmed. Apparently my purpose in life is to ensure the kitties don’t sit on cool soft surfaces.
