WHY IS SHE STARING AT ME???

She's had her bedtime biscuits. She's had a play in her cat tunnel. Boy cat has gone to sleep. She's been sitting staring at me for the last half hour while I've been trying to watch TV.
Do you think she's trying to mind beam something into my brain? Or does she just want to sit in my warm spot when I get up?

(Not a lap cat. Looks cute, will swipe you given half a chance. Only loves 17yr old DS)

Safe to say, I'm away from mrs death stare for a few days...... I have been admitted for induction 😨😨😨 DH has been instructed to give DCat lots of cuddles, DCat told to be nice!

The upstairs cat has, unusually, been joining us downstairs these last few evenings and has spent much of her time staring and keeping her eyes on me. Wonder if she knows something I don't?

I'm missing my wee grumpy cat though!!! Just hope she behaves for DH! Wish he could sneak her in here for cuddles, but she'd probably still stare disapprovingly at me lol!!!

Last time a baby was in the house, she stood on the stairs and just observed. I imagine she will do the same!

I am subject to nightly staring from two of mine (first pic)... it means "Dreamy time already human".

I suspect our new arrival (second pic) will soon join in... she's practicing her stare...

My cat does this to my daughter. Cat hates her and the staring really freaks dd out. We aren’t sure why - she was home alone a couple of days ago and the cat woke her up by bopping her face! Claws in which I thought was progress!

I've come to the conclusion that staring = a requirement of something or other that is not being met. Quite often it is thirst.

We get through a lot of cat milk in this house.

Fortunately at this time I am not being stared at, since four pairs of eyes all at once is quite unnerving.
