WHY IS SHE STARING AT ME???

She's had her bedtime biscuits. She's had a play in her cat tunnel. Boy cat has gone to sleep. She's been sitting staring at me for the last half hour while I've been trying to watch TV.
Do you think she's trying to mind beam something into my brain? Or does she just want to sit in my warm spot when I get up?

(Not a lap cat. Looks cute, will swipe you given half a chance. Only loves 17yr old DS)

She's my first, although I've always had cats... she is shaping up to be as talkative, mischievous, sociable and playful as I'd expected!

"Nope. You do not get up. I'm comfy here."

Apparently I'm unreasonable for needing a wee. Or for wanting to breathe unrestrained by 6kg of cat on my chest. Or even for not wanting cat drool on my face.

I have moggies and Orientals. But I cannot imagine not having them now! I think I will always need an oriental although I could consider a Siamese... they're great fun and so much character and such huge ears!

DH has advised DCat is very very clingy with him when he nips home. Wherever he goes, she's following and won't leave him alone. When he came home after baby was born, she was sick and even more clingy. I think she knows!!

Could DH bring something the baby has worn home with him so that the cat has something to sniff to get the baby's scent?
We did that with our cats and I think it helped. They still approached DD with extreme caution when we did bring her home.

@TheLongRider were doing that today :) I'll still be in for another night due to varying reasons so he's got some baby grows and one of the blankets to take home after lunch and will see what happens lol!

It is her bed, she’s in it. Therefore it’s a cat bed.
