The entire house works to our cat's timetable.
If we are still asleep when she thinks we should be up she stands on the landing and yells until we wake up. Doesn't come into the bedrooms or anything. She just stands in the middle of the landing and yells at us.
Bedtime is also decided by her. She yells and leads us to bed.
I work from home and must stop everything when she needs to have a nap because she needs a cuddle first or she can't sleep.
When it gets to about 6pm she starts hassling me to pack up for the day and clear my stuff away.
We can only run the washing machine and tumble dryer at certain times of the day because she doesn't like going in the kitchen when they're on and even if it's a time she's normally sleeping if she wants a drink or something she makes us turn them off.
Enforcement for all the above is yelling, followed by tapping, if you don't listen it's claws and if you are still not obeying she bites your foot.
She also has massive separation anxiety and can't be left alone in the house. This one works fine because I'm agoraphobic. If she wakes up and can't immediately locate someone (eg I'm in the loo) she yells but not an angry yell. It's a terrified noise. She struggles to calm down and needs to be held.
You can't pick her up, she has to jump on to you.
You can't have closed doors. She bangs on them until you let her in. I can often be found stuck on the loo with a cat in my arms.
I know it all probably sounds absolutely insane but she is deeply damaged (rescued from the streets as a kitten so badly malnourished that she has suffered health problems her whole life. God knows what happened to her during that time) and she really needs these accomodations.
