The food in the bowl wasn't quite right so he had to investigate the fridge
Now eating Tesco finest air dried ham Hmm

@Fluffycloudland77

A late response to me standing on the kitten..I'm not sure which body part it was! I was sort of rolling backwards (pregnant and feeling huge) off the bed and my foot went down onto him! He's absolutely fine though and luckily had a vets appointment the next day

bethabean · 05/11/2021 11:51

The tiny feet sticking out under the tube always makes me smile Grin

Aww, my childhood cats learnt to tuck thei tails under as my dm wore shoes in the house and is prone to sudden movements.

NotMyCat · 05/11/2021 13:56

OMG. So Ollie is outside and just started wailing as usual. Paws has just appeared from nowhere and run straight over to him to check he’s ok and they're now sat together
😭😭😭😭 my heart

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/11/2021 16:36

That’s so cute. Asbo would’ve gone over screaming “I’m going to fuck you up”.

I’m getting a lot of attention because I went to work all day and left her with the other human. Y’know, the one I got her for in the first place.

NotMyCat · 05/11/2021 16:45

Yeah he sprinted over and then booped Ollie on his head and they just sat there for a bit while I was wailing how cute they were Grin

swampytiggaa · 05/11/2021 19:31

Mine want me to make the fireworks stop. The noise isn’t stopping when they hide under a bed or under the settee or when they growl at it. Also doesn’t stop when they have a 3 way fight complete with hissing and growling.

Apparently tho I’m just not doing enough to help.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 05/11/2021 21:14

I didn't get home 'til 4 today, but fortunately got Leroy out for a good walk before the fireworks started. He doesn't mind them when he's safe in his house, but out and about is a big no-no. Personally I do mind them now - SHUT UP ALREADY!!!

Sorry NotMyCat, I don't think you can claim that any more - you're going to have to change your name to YeahHeIsMyCatNow 😂

Supersimkin2 · 05/11/2021 21:48

Maybe a pic of Leroy would help everyone take their mind off the frightful fireworks.

Capn hopped onto me, he's not keen on the noise either. Feliway plugged in and he's passed out cold.

NotMyCat · 05/11/2021 21:52

Ollie is trying to prise the window open while bellowing in my ear because he wants to go OUT. I have subtitles on as I can't hear the TV over the wailing

Allergictoironing · 06/11/2021 09:13

My pair of ex-feral shy, timid, and in Boycat's case terrified of almost anything, didn't give a damn last night. Girlcat crashed out happily on the back of the sofa on her favorite fleece, occasionally giving me exasperated looks when the mortars were so loud they almost shook the house and woke her up. Boycat snuggled in to the radiator hammock & slept through the lot, apart from supper time & a cuddle after eating (normal).

This is a good thing, because the fireworks have been going on all week here (it's Diwali as well, large Hindu population here), and I expect a fair few more tonight. At least it all died down by about 10pm - come New Years Eve they tend to start at about 9pm, reach a peak at midnight, and often go on until about 2am Hmm

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/11/2021 09:22

2am 😮 I like to be in bed for 10pm.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/11/2021 11:21

Oddly enough none of ours seem to be bothered by the fireworks. We did get them in earlyish last night but didn't stop them trying to get back out again despite the noise.
They are all relaxing at the moment - Basil and Lenny have taken to sleeping together.

This fool fell from climbing on the bannisters last night to the bottom of the stairs Sad. Bloody hate fireworks, they terrify all of mine.

Supersimkin2 · 06/11/2021 11:30

O no! Has the fallen angel recovered?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/11/2021 11:35

Hope bannister cat is ok?
(Have you considered renaming him Roger Grin)

Justonedayatatime11 · 06/11/2021 11:46

Very subdued @Supersimkin2, she has dubious back legs as it is so need to keep an extra eye on her.
@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats I'm not sure she'd love the name to be honest... Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/11/2021 11:52

OOPS - I'm very sorry for mis-gendering your cat - (now if only she had put her pronouns in the thread... Grin)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/11/2021 12:12

I must admit I just assumed that it was Charlie!

And wonderful dignified grey ear tufts Grumpy! Is that Basil? For some reason, he reminded me of Great Uncle Bulgaria!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/11/2021 12:18

Actually it's Lenny with the tufty ears (it's his best feature Grin)
A close-up for you.

Justonedayatatime11 · 06/11/2021 12:20

Willows a fair bit smaller than Charlie but similar colouring. 10 x more serval than Charlie is though!

Chez Ollie - "Give me your tired, your paw, your purring masses..." - All welcome
YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/11/2021 12:24

Lenny! The wise old sage!

And I assumed it was Charlie because it's such a Charlie thing to do :)

They are all gorgeous :)

coastergirl · 06/11/2021 12:39

I also assumed it was Charlie. It does seem a very Charlie thing to do. Walter isn't bothered about fireworks. I hate that they are on for so many nights though because they scare so many animals.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/11/2021 13:47

You’re all ruining Charlie’s self esteem. Poor boy thinks he’s stealthy serval.
