Cole from the Cole and Marmalade duo has died. I was expecting this but it is still so sad. I love their videos.

He's had cancer for a while. It started in his nose and eventually spread to his kidney.

This all started just after they won the right to put Cole and Marm videos back on the internet (they were scammed into selling the rights).

It is all very sad and I feel for Chris and his wife (I can't remember her name). They do seem to be good people doing good things.

Today I have a rare Saturday off work. Was going to go to parkrun but have a streaming cold. As I was in a bit of a mood I decided to sort the dining/cat room out. It was a bit unpleasant under the settee 💩 little sods.

Anyway I’ve dismantled and binned the cat tree 😱 washed all covers on the settee cleaned the floor thoroughly and moved the furniture around.

The idiot sisters are very perplexed.

Have tasked the Boychild with researching scratch resistant wall coverings as I am sick of having shredded wallpaper.

Now collapsed with a coffee 😂😂

Gomez is on my lap now but digs her claws in my knee every time I blow my nose. Not sure what she’ll do if I sneeze 🤧

@swampytiggaa I have just gave up and removed the last of my wallpaper at the Summer although DCat3 must not have liked it as he had already tried to remove it! I just paint the walls now. Got new sofas/scratching posts too I bought those plastic cover things to go over the most scratchable parts but they just find another bit unless I cover the whole thing in plastic

Just as well they are so cute, went upstairs earlier and DCat1 & 2 were lying with the kitten between them all cuddled up around each other fast asleep.

Excellent news about the mortgage, NotMyCat. And about more visits from Paws. He always looks rather vulnerable and wistful even when he is trying to open packets of cat food or demanding chicken or ham.

I dropped some cooked crispy bacon today

He probably mistook it for a leaf.

A lot of rules are broken for bacon. I have a vegetarian acquaintance who eats bacon. Also seen them eat duck, beef and turkey at Xmas 🤨

They still identify as vegetarian though.

Ewwww - bacon is one of the reasons I am vegetarian.

Ghastly stuff. Even the smell turns my stomach.
