The cat and the dog are making friends.

That is, the dog is in love. The cat is not amused. Truly, a superior life form.

Whereas the dogs slightly above a house plant to the cat.

Captains looking pleased with himself isn’t he? He’s still got it.

NotMyCat · 29/09/2021 09:20

There is a car that just burst into flames outside my house. Fire brigade are here. Ollie is having a great time nosying out the window and wailing away Blush

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/09/2021 10:03

Crikey. Insurance job?

Puddy started playing with a hair elastic today, just started pouncing on it and throwing it up in the air like a little star so I’ve left it on the spare bed for her to play with.

NotMyCat · 29/09/2021 10:19

No, he was driving his child to school! It just started smoking out the drivers door then went into flames

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2021 10:35

Kinell, stand well back Queen.

The side-eye on the cat, innit, @Motorina.

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2021 10:40

Have the fire brigade put the car out? Or just robbed the petrol and driven off :)

NotMyCat · 29/09/2021 10:45

I did contemplate asking if it had petrol or diesel...

Not like a VW to let you down 😃

NotMyCat · 29/09/2021 13:29

@Fluffycloudland77 have you tried the hair bobbles that are like coiled telephone wires? You can ping them, Ollie steals them all the time Grin (and doesn't tell me where his stash is)

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/09/2021 14:20

No but I bet Wilco sells them 🙂 I was so pleased because I worry she’s bored. I tried her with drinking straws but she wasn’t interested.

NotMyCat · 29/09/2021 14:48

Ollie likes cotton buds too. These are the bobbles, they ping in a satisfying way!

She’s got around the cat litter like that but it’s too big to play with I’ll have a look for them.

My heart burst when she does cat stuff because I don’t think they would’ve had time 5o play with her when her owner was ill.

NotMyCat · 29/09/2021 15:12

You can usually get cheap ones most places, Lidl used to sell them
Bless her Smile you'll find what she likes

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2021 16:54

She’s playing! Sob, the sweetness. You’ve made her so happy @Fluffycloudland77

Are you and Ollie behind closed windows Queen? You’ll be coughing and dusting for weeks otherwise.

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2021 16:58

Pets at home do a moving mouse 🐁. Capn claims it frightens him to ask for food.

Motorina · 29/09/2021 18:37

@Fluffycloudland77 the dogs rank below the houseplants. The (non-existant) houseplants don't suck her ears.

@Supersimkin2 total sideeye. May I comment on how handsome Capn is looking today.

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2021 22:02

Capn's in disgrace for hassling Havelock.

I won't have it. They were both chiling out in the garden - Havelock's garden - and it all went High Noon.

Capn hissed!

I hobbled out (Fluffy you were dead right, I ruptured that tendon exactly as DH did it says the physio) and had to retrieve my pet via bottlebrush tail.

He's had a bit of steak and a cuddle, but he knows I think it's not cricket.

coastergirl · 30/09/2021 00:30

Super your posts make me smile so much! I can picture the shenanigans

Justonedayatatime11 · 30/09/2021 09:38

Having a wobble. It's 9 months to the day since I lost Darcy and her sister is finally going in to be spayed today. I figured if the evil breeder tries to sue me for breach of contract then so be it. Feel sick at the thought of leaving her there, especially today Sad

Allergictoironing · 30/09/2021 11:03

Have a hand hold Just.

What are the chances that Evil Breeder would ever come to you and demand a litter from Darcy's sister after the "discussion" you had 9 months ago? And that's the only way she could find out.

Supersimkin2 · 30/09/2021 16:07

Big furry hug from Capn, and a nice squashy one from me.

Bugger that wicked breeder psycho @Justonedayatatime11

She'll never do anything, she knows she's in the wrong. Don't give the nutter a second thought.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/09/2021 16:44

I’d say she’d gone Just & you buried her in the back garden. Honestly fuck it. Block and move on. Get a video doorbell and you don’t have to answer the door.

Justonedayatatime11 · 30/09/2021 17:31

Well she's home and in disgrace. Apparently she had 'opinions' about being injected and swiped at everyone who came into contact with her Hmm

Bluebellbike · 30/09/2021 17:46

These two tiny beauties are a pair of feral kittens my DS took in as they were living beside a very busy road near his house. He thinks they are now around 10 weeks old. It seems there were originally five but only these two left when DS found them. He has not been able to pick them up yet but will have to soon to take them to the vet. He has named them Tom and Jerry.
