Thanks for all your good wishes. Basil is back home. He's now on so many pills and potions I suspect he'll rattle if I lift him up. We are also all on litter tray monitoring duty (the things we do for these fluffies eh?).

Healing purrs to Basil from all my Mog's. I see TC is offering his nursing services.

The girls are behaving this morning. They even sat and ate their breakfast together even though they have their own bowls in separate rooms 🥰

I have to give Basil 3 oral syringes and three pills twice a day.
He's very grumpy about it and is desperate to go outside.

He is still struggling a bit (only passing small quantities of urine at one go) but the vet doesn't seem too worried at present.

My friends cat has brought a feral kitten home
Woke her up at 4am yelling with a hissing ball of fluff. No sign of mum or other kittens

Just found Ollie holding up his paw at the neighbour like he's injured while she feeds him dreamies. Spoiler - he's not injured as he trotted off on all 4 paws

I did get that - but I don't quite get why he keeps 'blocking' after surgery?

Just seen this thread. Three weeks ago two little kittens joined our family. We are totally on love and even if they keep me up by pouncing all over the bed at night and nibbling our toes.

We can't believe how much they have grown in three weeks. I think they might of been over 12 weeks when we collected them.

It can come back @YetAnotherSpartacus, they usually need special diets after to stop crystals forming again if it recurs.

I’m deducting one point off Basils score card because he didn’t save it for a bank holiday, which is the traditional time for cats to get poorly.

You are bang on - are you my vet? .
Basil had a blocked urethra suspected to be caused by Feline Interstitial cystitis.
The blockage was cleared (vet hospital) but he's on a million meds for the cystitis. He's clearly not quite right yet.

And very impressed by the cute black kittens. Can you tell them apart?
